  • Publication number: 20240309700
Abstract: An apparatus for cordlessly retracting and releasing a roller blind or a roller shade is provided. The apparatus allows the user to effectuate repositioning the shade or blind at a desired position, by lightly tapping or touching or maneuvering the shade or blind. The apparatus includes a screen and a roller tubing that rotates to release or retract the screen. The screen has a bottom rail attached to its bottom. The apparatus includes a lifting spring that is pre-torqued for rotating the roller tubing to lift the screen. The apparatus also includes a rotation damper for providing a friction to dampen or stop a rotation of the roller tubing. The lifting spring is pre-compressed to provide sufficient torque and energy to retract the screen. The bottom rail is configured to match the torque produced by the lifting spring to achieve an equilibrium when the user is not touching the screen.

  • Publication number: 20240141725
Abstract: An apparatus for even distribution of torque in a roller shade is provided. The apparatus further enhances surface rigidity of the roller, thereby minimizing the curving of the roller tubing due to the weight of the screen. The apparatus, a roller synchronizer, includes a rotation adaptor, a support connector, and a support rod that are installed inside a roller tubing of the roller shade. The rotation adaptor, the support connector, and the roller tubing are rotationally coupled and free to rotate about the support rod and the support rod is rotationally stationary. The support connector fit within a center tunnel of the rotation adaptor, and the support rod threads through a center through hole of the support connector. The apparatus ensures that the retraction of the screen would automatically stop at a desired, predetermined position.

  • Publication number: 20240068297
Abstract: A peak cover for lift cord and tilt ladder includes a limiter having an arcuate cover. A fixed engagement plate is disposed at an upper end of a left side of the arcuate cover. Two stop walls are disposed on two sides of a lower end of the left side of the arcuate cover. Two grooves are formed inside the stop walls. Two annular ribs of a cord winding reel are engaged in the grooves, whereby the cord winding reel is freely rotatable. A movable engagement plate is disposed at an upper end of a right side of the arcuate cover. Four raised columns are formed on an upper end of the arcuate cover. The arcuate cover of the limiter is capped on the cord winding reel. The fixed engagement plate and the movable engagement plate of the arcuate cover are engaged with the annular ribs on two sides of the cord winding reel.

  • Publication number: 20240018828
Abstract: An apparatus for ensuring evenness and smoothness in the operations of a roller shutter or window blind is provided. The apparatus synchronizes the torque applied across the length of the roller. The apparatus also enhances the rigidity of the roller tube without significantly increasing the cost and the weight of the roller shutter. The apparatus may include an outer tube, a rotation power source, an inner shaft, and a rotation synchronizer. The inner shaft is disposed within the outer tube. The rotation synchronizer is installed at the inner shaft to rotationally couple the inner shaft with the outer tube. A rotation power source is installed at one end of the outer tube or the inner shaft to provide power to rotate the inner shaft and the outer tube. The outer tube may be for winding the screen of a roller shutter, or a lifting or tilting cord of a horizontal blind.

  • Publication number: 20230323732
Abstract: A safety cord tilter, in which two cords of the cord tilter for controlling opening or closing of the blind slats are exposed outside the headrail by a length set within a safety length range. The rear ends of the two cords are respectively connected with a first pull rod and a second pull rod for pulling the cords. When the first and second pull rods are used to control opening or closing of the blind slats, the first pull rod or the second pull rod reaches the blind rail at the top end, whereby the allowable exposed lengths of the pulled-out cords will not exceed the safety range so as to shorten the exposed length of the cords. This prevents a child from playing with the cords and twisting the cords around the neck and achieves safety effect.

  • Publication number: 20230063464
Abstract: A blind pull cord connector has a cord passage section and a connection section. The cord passage section has more than one cord passage bodies, each of which is formed with a through hole. An inner face of each cord passage body is formed with a cut face. The connection section is passed through a punched hole of rear side of a blind slat, whereby the cord passage section is positioned on outer side of the slat. When the slat is horizontally opened or vertically closed, the connector structure is limited by the slat so that the connector is connected with the blind slat and naturally kept horizontal. In this case, a pull cord can be easily and quickly passed through the through holes of the cord passage bodies, whereby the frictional resistance against the pulling of the pull cord is reduced and the slats can be more tightly closed. In addition, by means of the restriction of the cord passage bodies of the cord passage section, a ladder cord and the pull cord are located.

  • Patent number: 11591851
Abstract: A free hanging safety bead chain tension device includes a clutch, a bead chain for controlling ascending/descending of a roller shade, a tension rod and more than one restriction seats. The bead chain is connected with the tension rod and the restriction seats are disposed on the rod body of the tension rod. Each restriction seat has one or more restriction tunnels for locating the bead chain adjacent to the tension rod. When pulling the bead chain to control the ascending/descending of the roller shade, the bead chain is positioned by the tension rod and the restriction seats. Accordingly, not only the bead chain can be still smoothly pulled, but also the bead chain is prevented from being pulled out by a space sufficient to twist around a neck. Therefore, a child is prevented from pulling the bead chain to twist the bead chain around the child's neck so that a safety effect is achieved.
