  • Publication number: 20100236726
Abstract: A ladder drum for adjusting and regulating the angular orientation and closure of horizontal slats of a venetian blind, of the type incorporating ladder cords or tape ladders, having a polygonal profiled structure comprising a series of planar sidewalls defining a substantially hollow interior. The number of sidewalls defining the polygonal structure is greater than four sidewalls, and less than or equal to twelve sidewalls, with each adjacent plane sidewall having an internal angular orientation in the range of 90° to 150°. To enhance the uniform closure of the slats of a horizontal blind, the polygonal ladder drum is more preferably in the form of an uneven hexagon that is formed from injection molded plastics. The opposing top and bottom sidewalls are greater in dimension than the mediate sidewalls, and have attachment means to insert various widths of ladder tape. The mediate sidewalls have at least two opposing access slots to insert and retain ladder cords in a counter balanced relation.

To enhance the uniform closure of the slats of a horizontal blind, the polygonal ladder drum is more preferably in the form of an uneven hexagon that is either formed from injection molded plastics or a metal die stamping. The opposing top and bottom sidewalls are greater in measurement than the remaining mediate sidewalls, with at least two opposing mediate sidewalls having attachment means to insert and retain ladder cords in a counter balanced relation.

  • Publication number: 20100024993
Abstract: A side cover of a roller blind frame rail for closing an opening of a tail end of the roller blind frame rail. The side cover includes: a closing board as a main body, the closing board having a fixing rest shelf perpendicularly projecting from the closing board and positioned adjacent to an upper edge thereof, two vertical breaking flutes being respectively formed on two sides of an inner face of the closing board, the breaking flutes extending through the closing board from a lower edge of the closing board to the upper edge thereof; a locating post projecting from a center of the inner face of the closing board; and three insertion plates perpendicularly projecting from the inner face of the closing board. The three insertion plates are a transverse insertion plate and two vertical insertion plates.

  • Publication number: 20090183843
Abstract: A Venetian blind includes a plurality of horizontal slats which are positioned at a predetermined distance vertically and a lifting and rotating control unit. Each of the slats includes a transversely extended central portion having a curved cross section, and two wing portions horizontally extended from and along two opposite transverse edges of the curved central portion. The lifting and rotating control unit includes a lift cord vertically extended through openings provided on the slats, two ladder cords vertically located at two transverse sides of the slats, and a plurality of cross rung cords separately located below the slats and connected at two ends to the two ladder cords, such that the cross rung cords each have two end portions in contact with lower sides of the two wing portions. With the above arrangements, the slats may be smoothly rotated in an effort-saving manner to overlap one another to provide effective light blocking function.

  • Publication number: 20060011310
Abstract: The present invention discloses an automatic equalizer for blinds, which comprises two arc grooves disposed at the center of one end of an equalizer body corresponding to a wavelike protrusion for being coupled with a lid of the same shape; a first thread hole, a fourth thread hole, a second thread hole and a third thread hole being disposed parallel to each other along the same axial direction on a protruded end of an external side of one of the arc grooves and the bottom of a protruded end of another arc groove respectively, and the aforementioned thread holes passing through another end of the equalizer body.

  • Patent number: 6863111
Abstract: The system is applicable to any system having need for a positive stop at the end of a period of travel. In a vertical blind track system, a lead carrier which is typically manipulated by a control wand with universal linkage can include an installable and removable end stop engagement structure. This structure fits onto conventional lead carriers within a slot which is upwardly directed and at one side of the lead carrier. The installable and removable end stop engagement structure has a wide lateral slot, and including a first engagement member for engaging an edge of one end of the slot on the lead carrier, and a second engagement member which is angled and placed next to an extension to facilitate manual engagement and removal of the installable and removable end stop engagement structure. Once mounted in place, it aligns with, and is force or momentum inserted into and through a stop engagement aperture.

  • Publication number: 20040121128
Abstract: An improved injection molded blade, particularly made of PVC foam and used for Venetian blinds, door or window ventilators, air conditioner air outlets, involving mainly a plurality of longitudinal or latitudinal partition plates installed in a discharge mold of an injection molder, so the material is subjected to heat treatment by the inside wall of the mold outlet and the partition plates, and when the blade passes the discharge outlet, there are a plurality of rigid and solid ribs formed inside the blade and on an exterior periphery of the blade, thereby achieving the effects of more solid, durable and beautiful structure than conventional blades. Optionally an additional small mold is installed inside the discharge mold of the injection molder, filled with fiberglass or other materials different from that of the blade, so that the finished blade will incorporate a layer of composite materials for better strength, solidarity and durability.

  • Patent number: 6752195
Abstract: An anchor apparatus for a curtain cord is located in a U-shaped frame that has a front wall and a rear wall. The apparatus includes an anchor wheel and a brake wheel that may be closed to each other to anchor a curtain cord. The anchor wheel is an angle wheel with flat surfaces formed on the peripheral surface to match teeth traces formed on the brake wheel to control the anchoring of the curtain cord. The curtain cord is not damaged by heavy clutching and crushing when in use. Operation may be done with less effort. Compressing effect is improved and durability may be increased.
