  • Patent number: 9257097
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for remote display of content in a wireless network. A source device capable of displaying content may identify one or more rendering instructions for content to be displayed remotely on a sink device. The source device may transmit the one or more rendering instructions to the sink device via a wireless peer-to-peer connection. The sink device may receive the one or more rendering instructions and may execute the one or more rendering instructions to render a display of at least part of the content. Further, the source device may receive data from the sink device via the wireless peer-to-peer connection. The identifying of the one or more rendering instructions by the source device may thus include identifying at least one rendering instruction based at least in part on the received data.

  • Publication number: 20160031602
Abstract: A sleeve for a cup includes a shape that reduces the overall surface area of the sleeve. The sleeve contains an enlarged surface area for the thumb and another enlarged surface area for one or more fingers of the hand for thermally insulating the hand from the cup. The sleeve includes a narrow portion of material connecting these areas. The overall size of the sleeve is such that it reduces the amount of material used in the sleeve, while providing the same thermal insulative effect of a larger sleeve.

  • Patent number: 9082324
Abstract: A device for securing a sign to a mullion is provided. The device includes first and second body portions, and a tensioner operatively uniting same. The first body portion is characterized by adjacent mullion receiving elements and a sign support structure. A first mullion receiving element includes a substantially planar member receivable adjacent a mullion face. A second mullion receiving element extends from the first mullion receiving element for tensioned engagement with a first lateral mullion surface of opposingly paired lateral mullion surfaces adjacent the mullion face. The sign support structure is spaced apart and extends from the first mullion receiving element so as to thereby delimit a channel passing between the sign support structure and the first mullion receiving element.

  • Publication number: 20150186820
Abstract: Included are systems and methods for determining diversity spend credit for parties in a supply chain. The systems and methods can include receiving diversity spend data for parties in the supply chain and iteratively determining, for each party in the supply chain, an amount of diversity spend credit that is directly or indirectly attributable, through the supply chain, to the purchase of goods or services from a diverse party in the supply chain, which can include multiple parties that buy or sell a good or service to one another. The diversity spend credit can be determined in real time as each party reports diversity spend data, and alerts or reports can be generated if threshold diversity levels for one or multiple diversity categories are crossed. The systems and methods can include generating alternative suppliers to meet diversity objectives.

  • Publication number: 20150115544
Abstract: A seal assembly includes an annular static sealing member disposed within an annular channel in a housing or shaft. An annular dynamic sealing member is disposed coaxially within or about the static member and has a circumferential sealing surface engageable with the shaft or housing. An annular biasing member is disposed radially between the static and dynamic sealing members and is configured to bias the dynamic sealing member radially to maintain engagement of the sealing surface and the shaft or housing. The static member is configured to prevent relative angular displacement between the static and biasing members and the dynamic member is configured to prevent relative angular displacement between the dynamic and biasing members. As such, the dynamic sealing member, the biasing member and the static sealing member angularly displace within the channel as a single unit when torque above a particular magnitude is applied to the dynamic sealing member.

  • Publication number: 20150082183
Abstract: A user at a geographical location may submit a search query and receive results responsive to the search query. The search results provided to the user may be based on the user's geographical location. The search results may also be based on one or more attributes of the user or an alter ego. The alter ego may be an individual user or another type of entity, such as a group or a business. A user at a geographical location submitting an alter-ego search query may see the results that would be presented to the alter ego if the alter ego were at the geographical location. Each user's interests may be selected through an interest-selection interface, automatically generated as the user interacts with search results, dynamically generated as a user follows or likes search results, or otherwise determined.
