Abstract: Medical device (10) for delivering therapeutic material to a patient. The device comprises an access sheath (12) having a proximal section (18) extending to a distal section (20). A working lumen (22) is formed in the proximal and distal sections. The distal section has a plurality of side ports (48) formed therethrough in fluid communication with the working lumen. The distal section has a deflection section (42) actuatable to bend at an angle for positioning the side ports in the patient. A needle assembly (14) is configured to move within the working lumen between a retracted position and an extended position. In fluid communication with a central lumen is a plurality of needles (80). The needles are disposed within the access sheath in the retracted position and the needles extend through the side ports outwardly from the access sheath in the extended position.

Abstract: Wakeboarding causes a large number of knee injuries, especially to the ACL. These injuries occur from large tensile, compressive and rotational forces on the knees. Rotational and compressive forces cause meniscus tears. Rotation and tensional forces lead to ACL tears. Knee injuries may be prevented by releasing both feet from the board simultaneously at a force lower than the ultimate strength of the ligaments in the knee. This novel device releases both feet within 0.25 of a second at a force under 268 lbs.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system, method, and computer-readable medium for creating and trading securitized environmental offset credits in a registered securities exchange includes providing a processor, memory device, at least one user interface, and a network connection arranged in an online trading platform; registering, in a database in the memory device and via the network connection, one or more environmental offset credits to respective owners thereof; requesting, via the network, equitization of at least a portion of the one or more environmental offset credits by a securities regulator; applying a unique identifier supplied by the securities regulator to the equitized one or more environmental offset credits; and assigning custody of each of the equitized one or more environmental offset credits to a custodian and storing the custodian assignment in the database.

Abstract: Disclosed Is an apparatus for supporting an object such as a speaker above a video display having substantially parallel front and rear planar surfaces. The apparatus comprises a top platform having at least one front lip adapted to engage the front planar surface of the video display and at least one adjustable rear gripping device suspended from the top platform adapted to selectively engage the rear planar surface of the video display. The at least one front lip and at least one rear gripping device cooperate to clamp the video display therebetween.
