  • Publication number: 20160366775
Abstract: A personalized housing for a consumer product, such as as speaker, includes a customizable cover at least partially covering the product and a set of at least two end caps coupled to the product. The end caps are oriented in at least partial opposition to each other and installed using an interference fit. A vibration dampening connector or buffer couples the end caps to the product. The butler is arranged such that urging the end caps onto the product couples the end caps in a releasable interference fit, and the cover remains coupled to the product when the end caps are pulled from the cover. The cover allows access to controls located on the product, for example volume and input controls, may be made of at front panel covering only the front of the product, and a corresponding enclosure that covers the top, rear and sides of the product.

  • Publication number: 20160344544
Abstract: In representative embodiments, a system and method to recommend improvements to a security reliance score is illustrated. Individual cryptographic key material has an associated security reliance score that is calculated based on attributes of associated with the cryptographic key material. The system identifies an improvement goal and evaluates a selected cross-section of key material and their associated scores. Based on the evaluation, the system creates an exemplary model having attributes to use as the basis of improvement. This model is then used to calculate improvement potential for a selected cross-section of scores by calculating the improvement that would occur if changes were made in the selected cross-section to match the model. Based on the improvement potential, the system can then automatically initiate action(s) to improve scores or present options for action(s) to a user for selection and initiation.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for providing generating and managing profiles. Such systems and methods may be implemented to control access to a function of a web server or site based on a level of trust associated with a user or device profile. According to one exemplary method, session information associated with a request to access a function of a web server is identified. At least one processor determines whether the request is associated with a trusted device profile based on the at least the session information. Access to the requested function is provided when the request is associated with a trusted device profile.

  • Patent number: 9478912
Abstract: An electrical connector includes a machined metal contact housing having a contact housing cavity surrounded by a contact housing wall. Two or more electrical contacts are disposed within the contact housing cavity. A polarization alignment key is disposed on an inside surface of the contact housing wall. A key-retaining pocket on the contact housing intersects an inside surface of the contact housing wall to form a longitudinal slot opening between the key-retaining pocket and the contact housing cavity. The key is mounted on the contact housing by virtue of a portion thereof being disposed in the key-retaining pocket. The electrical connector may be manufactured by (1) machining the key-retaining pocket in a metal blank from which the contact housing will be formed, (2) machining the contact housing cavity in the blank so as to intersect the key-retaining pocket, (3) mounting the key, and (4) mounting the electrical contacts.

  • Publication number: 20160303454
Abstract: A two part device for teaching a wearer to maintain a neutral head position while performing an action, like a gymnastics move. The device comprises a top part having a flat top surface and a thickness that is shaped to curve around the neck of a wearer and a bottom part shaped like a wedge which is securely connected to the top part on one end while the opposing end presses into the sternum or chest area of a wearing when the top part is positioned around the neck. The device is placed around the neck and pressed against the sternum or chest area of a user to ensure the wearer's head is in a neutral position. If the wearer performs the action and the device remains in place, the wearer knows that their head remained in a neutral position during the entire action, providing instant feedback.
