  • Patent number: 11586381
Abstract: Systems and methods for scheduling storage management tasks over predicted user tasks in a distributed storage system. A method commences upon receiving a set of historical stimulus records that characterize management tasks that are run in the storage system. A corresponding set of historical response records comprising system metrics associated with execution of the system tasks is also received. A learning model is formed from the stimulus records and the response records and formatted to be used as a predictor. A set of forecasted user tasks is input as new stimulus records to the predictor to determine a set of forecasted system metrics that would result from running the forecasted user tasks. Management tasks are selected so as not to impact the forecasted user tasks. Management tasks can be selected based on non-contentions resource usage between historical management task resource usage and predictions of resource usage by the user tasks.

  • Patent number: 11547371
Abstract: Various embodiments described herein relate to an intelligent warning system in a communication service. One embodiment of the present invention analyzes a user's biometric signals and image data of one of the users in a communication session to determine a distress level. In addition, location data indicating the user's velocity and direction can be used to determine a distress level. If the biometric signals or the image data indicate a distress level that meets or exceeds a threshold level, a notification is automatically sent to a remote user. This can allow a remote user to render assistance to a user in distress, even when the user is unable to communicate one or more conditions.

  • Patent number: 11544103
Abstract: A data processing device is described including one or more processors implementing a plurality of data processing entities, one or more software interrupt nodes and an access register for each software interrupt node. The access register specifies which one or more data processing entities of the plurality of data processing entities is/are each allowed to, as interrupt source data processing entity, trigger an interrupt service request on the software interrupt node for another one of the plurality of data processing entities as an interrupt target processing entity. Each software interrupt node is configured to forward an interrupt service request triggered by an interrupt source data processing entity which is allowed to trigger an interrupt service request on the software interrupt node to an interrupt target processing entity.

  • Patent number: 11501258
Abstract: A method and apparatus for mediating job applications between user devices and application tracking systems is described. The method may include accessing a job application web page served from an application tracking system. The method may also include rewriting at least a portion of the job application web page and one or more links within the job application web page to at least resolve at the real time proxy system and not an original target location of the one or more links. The method may further include serving a rewritten version of the job application web page from the real time proxy system to the user system, converting a response received from the user system to the rewritten version of the job application web page, and submitting the converted response to the application tracking system.

  • Publication number: 20220325813
Abstract: A solenoid based air ventilation valve (24) comprises of a housing (1), a solenoid coil (2), a flexible diaphragm (6), a plunger (8), a filter inlet (28) and a filter outlet assembly (100). The flexible diaphragm (6) is over molded with the plunger (8) to seal the flexible diaphragm (6) against the high pressure during closed position and has an incorporated O-ring (102) with flexible diaphragm (6) to stop the leakage from the valve (24). The filter outer assembly (100) is fixed to the inlet (25) and outlet port (26) to prevent suspended contamination particles in the valve (24). The valve (24) has a press fitted metal insert/flow controller (55) to achieve a low flow rate. Further, the air ventilation valve (24) allows a low leakage limit, low flow rate to serve high opening and working pressure to work in both over pressure and under pressure (vacuum) conditions.

  • Publication number: 20220188576
Abstract: An agent in a multi-agent system is provided with a policy model that controls communication of the agent with other agents in the multi-agent system. The policy model is trained by using MARL. The policy model receives more messages from one or more other agents in the multi-agent system. The policy model generates a reward score based at least on a hidden state of the agent and the one or more messages. The reward score represents an aggregation of a value of sending the message for a task and a cost of sending the message. The policy model determines whether to send the message based on the reward score. After determining to send the message, the policy model generates the message based on the hidden state of the agent and the one or more messages and sends the message to one or more other agents in the multi-agent system.

  • Publication number: 20220076249
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for creating and distributing blockchain-backed redistributable electronic content components. These techniques provider greater computer security and authentication controls, in various embodiments. An electronic content component associated with a first entity and a first set of actions is created. The electronic content component is published, and the first set of actions and a block representing the electronic content component are added to a blockchain. A second entity requests use of the electronic content component and a distribution agreement between the first and second entities associated with a second set of actions is created. The second set of actions and a block representing the distribution agreement are added to a blockchain. The electronic content component and distribution agreement are validated based on the blockchain, and custom content including the electronic content component is published.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for monocular 3D object detection from an image semantics network. An image semantics network (ISN) is a single stage, single image object detection network that is based on single shot detection (SSD). In an embodiment, the ISN augments the SSD outputs to provide encoded 3D properties of the object along with a 2D bounding box and classification scores. For each priorbox, a 3D bounding box is generated for the object using the dimensions and location of the priorbox, the encoded 3D properties and camera intrinsic parameters.
