  • Patent number: 11436534
Abstract: A model designer improves the security of a machine learning model in certain embodiments. Instead of storing the model in a central location, the training data used to build and train the model is stored across several different databases and/or datacenters. The training data is divided into portions and stored as a circular linked list across these databases and/or datacenters. The model designer retrieves the training data and incrementally builds and trains the model using the training data. The incremental error and bias of the model is used to locate training data between datacenters. Additionally, fake training data is appended to the circular linked list and the model designer tracks how much training data is used before hitting fake training data.

  • Publication number: 20220273617
Abstract: A novel prophylactic therapy for cancer, as well as therapy against DNA damage, inflammation and immunosuppression involves the ?-blocker carvedilol, which is a racemic mixture consisting of two enantiomers, S- and R-carvedilol, in 1:1 ratio. S-carvedilol is a ?-blocker, with a highly potent antagonizing activity against the ?-adrenergic receptors, which is the main mechanism for the drug's pharmacological activity in treatment of high blood pressure and heart failure. Carvedilol—the racemic mixture—prevents ultraviolet radiation induced skin cancer by attenuating DNA damage, reducing inflammation and reversing immunosuppression. The non-?-blocking enantiomer R-carvedilol exhibits the same cancer preventive efficacy as the racemic carvedilol, without disturbing the cardiovascular system. Both carvedilol and R-carvedilol prevent chemical carcinogen-induced lung cancer development and lung inflammation.

  • Patent number: 11405211
Abstract: Communications between a client and an application server can be authenticated based on biometrics information about a user. After basic client authentication by the application server, the application server queries a biometrics server that has user biometrics information. The biometrics server provides the biometrics information to the application server in the form of a hash and the application server stores it in an application database for future comparison. The application server sends an unencrypted token to the client. The client queries biometrics information from the biometrics servers, which is provided in a hash. The client uses the biometrics information to encrypt the unencrypted token received from the application server and sends the encrypted token to the application server for validation. The application server hashes the encrypted token received from the client and compares it to the hash stored in the application database. If the hashes match, the communications are authenticated.
