Abstract: A dispenser includes a valve for dispensing a liquid product to be dispensed in the form of an aerosol with the aid of a propellent gas. The valve is mounted on a container which contains the liquid and is equipped with a hollow operating stem including a product inlet and a product outlet, a push-button for actuating the valve via the stem, first and second nozzles provided in the push-button, and first and second ducts, respectively linking the first and second nozzles to the outlet of the stem. The first nozzle is a nozzle which is capable of delivering a spray having a mechanical effect and the second nozzle is a nozzle which is capable of delivering a spray of product. The dispenser is used especially for spraying hair lacquer.

Abstract: An aerosol can dispensing valve activation device includes a disk-shaped plate (1) provided with a central protuberance (2). Plate (1) is disposed transversely in a cylindrical hoop (11) attachable to an upper collar (9) of the aerosol can, and is connected at its peripheral edges to the cylindrical hoop by a connector (10), allowing displacement of plate (1) relative to hoop (11). A lever mechanism is provided having a ring (17) connected to the hoop (11) by a pivotal arm (14) having a tongue (15). An activating tab (18) projects upward from a peripheral edge of plate (1) in a location diametrically opposite tongue (15) when positioned for use.

Abstract: An actuating device for avoiding inadvertent triggering of a dispensing valve, and hence undesired expulsion of packed product, in a simple and economical manner. According to the invention, the device has a fixed annular collar, an actuating plate with a circular base, an articulation area including, for example, a film hinge, and a force activation area. The force activating area of the base includes a radial cutout defining a recess having a bearing surface in which a tongue can engage. The tongue has a free end and a joined end and can assume a locking position and a dispensing position. In the locking position, the free end engages the recess provided in the radial cutout of the plate and abuts the bearing surface to prevent pivoting plate movement. In the dispensing position, the tongue is retracted inside the plate, allowing pivotal movement of the plate around its articulation to the annular collar.

Abstract: A dispenser comprises a dispensing valve equipping a container that contains a product to be sprayed. The valve is provided with an actuator stem and the dispenser is of the kind which comprises a push button having a pin capable of acting on the stem. A duct passes through the pin and connects the outlet of the stem to a nozzle provided in the push button. A retaining ring is capable of being fixed on the container for holding the push button in position. The push button is molded in one piece with the retaining ring and is articulated thereto by a swivel joint and at least one tab. The swivel joint connects the push button to the ring in a zone situated in a plane defined by an axis (X) of the container and an axis (Y) of the nozzle and is capable of pivoting round an axis (Z) perpendicular to the axis of the container. The tab is movable in translation solely in the direction of depressing the push button and is situated in a zone of the push button defined by an angular sector of 40.degree. to 140.degree.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for preparing, measuring, and dispensing, a cosmetic product, particularly a product for dyeing or bleaching hair, obtained by mixing two liquid, cream, or gel components immediately prior to use. The device comprises a transparent cylindrical body with a flexible wall, provided at both its ends with identical external threads, and two removable end caps provided with identical internal threads. Each cap is able to cooperate with any of the external threads of the body. The wall of the body is provided with at least one series of graduations along the body. One of the caps has a dispensing device and the other cap has an orifice fitted with an automatically closing non-metallic valve.

Abstract: Dispensing assembly including a container and a dispensing member for dispensing a product contained in the container. The container is cylindrical and receives therein a piston having a body made of rigid material. The body has a cylindrical part carrying a seal made of elastic material. The seal is overmolded on the body of the piston and has a semi-toric portion. The elastic material and the rigid material are chemically compatible so that the seal and piston bond together.

Abstract: Applicator device for liquid, including a container and a dispenser head connected to the container via a dispenser cap. The dispenser head is made of a porous material. The container is a pressurized reservoir equipped with a dispenser valve. The dispenser head is borne by a support connected to a joining piece for cooperating with the valve to open the valve when a mechanical stress is exerted on the dispenser head. The liquid discharged from the reservoir during valve opening is channelled through the joining piece towards an inner face of the dispenser head. The dispenser cap includes a fastening member for connecting the cap to the reservoir. A flexible element connects the fastening member and the support, the rigid skirt being connected, in the vicinity of its upper edge, to a cylindrical wall which constitutes the flexible element. The dispenser cap is made in one piece by plastic molding.

Abstract: The dispenser comprises a flexible bag (2) containing a liquid or paste (6) and housed in a container (5) having a rigid wall (53) with an elastic bellows (51), a handle (43) and a closure system (3) which opens or closes when the product (6) is not at an adequate pressure. By pressing on the handle (43), the air trapped between the container (5) and the flexible bag (2) exerts adequate pressure on the product (6). The dispenser also comprises a cap (42). The dispenser neck (41) is connected by film hinges (48, 49) to both the handle (43) and the cap (42).

Abstract: Dispenser for a liquid product, including a container provided at an upper part thereof with a dispensing member carrying a push-button movable button rest and depressed positions, a cap provided with an acuating member in the form of a lever hinged on the cap and provided with a pressing member for acting on an upper outer surface of the push-button. The hinge is connected to the cap about halfway along the movement of the push-button between the rest and depressed positions. The upper outer surface of the push-button is convex and the pressing member defines a bearing surface for receiving the upper outer surface of the push-button.

Abstract: A device for activating a dispensing mechanism such as a pump or a valve is fitted to a container that contains a product to be dispensed and has an axially movable push-type tubular control rod aligned with a dispensing orifice. The activating device has a pushbutton mounted at the end of the control rod of the dispensing mechanism and is provided with an outlet nozzle located essentially at the center of its outer face aligned and in communication with the control rod. The activating device also includes a substantially cylindrical operating part having an annular upper surface constituting a force application zone and a support member able to cooperate with a stop member such that application of an activation force at any point on the upper annular surface of the operating part triggers displacement of the pushbutton and the control rod to activate the dispensing mechanism.

Abstract: The actuating device (1) is adapted to be incorporated into a dispenser provided with a valve (41) having a tubular end (43) which must be pressed in order to discharge the product. The device (1) includes a poppet valve (10), the movement of which is substantially transverse to the axis of the end (43). Action by the user on the push-button results, on the one hand, in opening of the poppet valve (10) and, on the other hand, in pressure being exerted on the tubular end (43) by the use of a film hinge (39). The vertical movement of the push-button is converted into a horizontal movement of the popper valve by means of an orthogonal joint. The product to be dispensed still pass into a chamber rendered airtight by the poppet valve (10) and a flexible collar (13), so that the product, especially a self-foaming product, remains hermetically sealed in the chamber during periods of non-use.

Abstract: This device comprises a push-button (10) acting as a lever on the push-rod (3) of a distribution valve provided on a container (1). This rod (3) defines a longitudinal axis (X--X). The push-button (10) has an outer face (15) comprising a zone for the application of an actuating force and comprises, on the one hand, a projection (20) coming to rest against the end (24) of the rod (3) and, on the other hand, bearing means (32) capable of cooperating with complementary stop means (44) connected to the container. The said zone of application has an angular range of at least approximately 180.degree. and the bearing means (32) and stop means (44) have an angular range corresponding to that of the said zone in order to define together a fulcrum for the said lever, situated in the plane passing through the longitudinal axis (X--X) and the point of application of the actuating force. This device is characterised in that the complementary stop (44) forms part of a collar (11, 111) fixed to the container.

Abstract: A self-closing dispenser comprising a container capable of containing a pasty product therein, the container having an outlet end. A dome member is mounted on the outlet end of the container, and the dome member has a slit therein through which the pasty product can escape the dispenser. The slit is defined by at least two edges which are normally spaced apart. A rigid cover is attachable to the outlet end of the container to cover a first portion of the dome member. The cover has an opening through which a second portion of the dome member extends, the second portion of the dome member including the slit. Boss members are disposed between the dome member and an inner surface of the cover, the inner surface being adapted to force the boss members into the dome member when the cover is attached to the outlet end to cause a deformation of the dome member.

Abstract: In the device (1) according to the invention, the lever arm actuating the valve consists of an element (5) disposed symmetrically on either side of the push-button against which it presses by means of a projection (24). The small plate (5) has four catches (25a, 25b, 25c, 25d) each sliding in a channel formed in a guide means (16a, 16b, 16c, 16d) carried by the fixed part (4) of the distributor head parallel to the longitudinal axis of the assembly. When one end (23a) of the small plate (5) is pressed, the two catches (25a, 25d) slide downwards in their channels and the other two catches (25b, 25c) remain in the abutting position at the top of their associated channels.

Abstract: Roll-on applicator consisting of two components, a ball (9) and a body (1) consisting of a part forming the bottle (2) containing the product (P) to be applied, a part forming the housing (4) for the ball (9) and a part forming the cap (5). This body (1) is obtained by moulding one single component. The invention also relates to the process for the manufacture of the device.
