  • Patent number: 11030127
Abstract: A memory controller includes a large combinational cloud to serve multi-core-to-multi-bank memory accesses which causes congestion and routing delays at physical design level especially in lower technology nodes thus limiting the frequency of operation. Present invention proposes an architecture to process sequences of access requests from multiple processing cores using alternating processing to generate sequences of granted access requests to one or more memory banks. For each processing core, first and second buffers store access requests. When an access request from one buffer is granted, that buffer is configured to receive a new access request and processing is performed to determine whether to grant an access request stored in the other buffer. The invention can maintain optimal bandwidth while providing desired sequences of the granted access requests and solving physical congestion issues.

  • Publication number: 20210097124
Abstract: A system and method for sharing information includes displaying on a screen of a mobile device data fields that include a machine-readable code (e.g., QR code) and visual indicia corresponding to information that is to be shared by a user of the mobile device. The user selects which information is to be shared by selecting or unselecting the corresponding visual indicia and the machine-readable code updates in real-time to include the information corresponding to the selected visual indicia. The information is stored as a URI-encoded serialized data object in a parameter portion of the URI of the machine-readable code.

  • Publication number: 20210064927
Abstract: A method of training a neural network (Convolutional Neural Network-CNN) including reduced graphical annotation input is provided. The training method can be used to train a Testing CNN that can be used for determining Hemolysis (H), Icterus (I), and/or Lipemia (L), or Normal (N) of a serum or plasma portion of a test specimen. The training method includes capturing training images of multiple specimen containers including training specimens, generating region proposals of the serum or plasma portions of the training specimens; and selecting the best matches for the location, size and shape of the region proposals for the multiple training specimens. The obtained features (network and weights) from the training CNN can be used in a testing CNN. Quality check modules and testing apparatus adapted to carry out the training method, and characterization methods using abounding box regressor are described, as are other aspects.

  • Patent number: 10449530
Abstract: Photocatalysts for reduction of carbon dioxide and water are provided that can be tuned to produce certain reaction products, including hydrogen, alcohol, aldehyde, and/or hydrocarbon products. These photocatalysts can form artificial photosystems and can be incorporated into devices that reduce carbon dioxide and water for production of various fuels. Doped wide-bandgap semiconductor nanotubes are provided along with synthesis methods. A variety of optical, electronic and magnetic dopants (substitutional and interstitial, energetically shallow and deep) are incorporated into hollow nanotubes, ranging from a few dopants to heavily-doped semiconductors. The resulting wide-bandgap nanotubes, with desired electronic (p- or n-doped), optical (ultraviolet bandgap to infrared absorption in co-doped nanotubes), and magnetic (from paramagnetic to ferromagnetic) properties, can be used in photovoltaics, display technologies, photocatalysis, and spintronic applications.
