  • Publication number: 20190349827
Abstract: Traffic associated with user equipment that are served by a first radio access network is steered to a second radio access network based on a cell user occupancy criterion. Cell user occupancy data that represents a maximum number of devices served by an access point is determined based on a type of the access point, e.g., macro access point, femto access point, WiFi access point, etc. Further, based on the cell user occupancy data, a normalized index value is generated that is relative to different cell types/capacities. The cell user occupancy data is then transmitted to one or more neighboring access points that can utilize the cell user occupancy data to facilitate traffic steering, load balancing, and/or neighbor relationship management.

  • Publication number: 20190182728
Abstract: Traffic associated with user equipment that are served by a first radio access network is steered to a second radio access network based on a rate of congestion criterion. Network load is monitored by an access point to determine rate of congestion data associated with the access point. As an example, the rate of congestion represents a change in network load of the access point over a defined time period. The rate of congestion data is then transmitted to one or more neighboring access points that can utilize the rate of congestion data to facilitate traffic steering, load balancing, and/or neighbor relationship management.

  • Publication number: 20190168248
Abstract: A spray gun reservoir including a cup, a lid, and a filter. The cup defines an internal containment volume. The lid defines an outlet. The filter is disposed between the containment volume and the outlet such that liquid flow from the containment volume to the outlet interfaces with the filter. The filter includes a knitted fabric filter media. The knitted fabric filter media can include filaments knitted in a pattern defining a plurality of pores, and is formed, at least in part, by warp knitting or weft knitting. At least some of the pore can be non-square in shape, including a triangular shape. The pores can be distributed across the knitted fabric filter media in a controlled, non-random manner. The knitted fabric filter media can include first and second layers of knitted fabric arranged to define a depth filter.

  • Publication number: 20190159094
Abstract: Traffic associated with user equipment that are coupled to a first radio access network is steered to a second radio access network based on an adaptable signal strength criterion. The signal strength criterion is related to real-time network load conditions of the first radio access network and can be broadcasted from a serving access point to the user equipment. Moreover, the signal strength criterion facilitates steering, to the second radio network, traffic associated with user equipment that are located closer to a cell edge of the first radio access network before steering traffic associated with user equipment are located further away from the cell edge. In addition, based on the network congestion within the first radio access network, the signal strength criterion is modified to adjust the number of user equipment that are steered to the second radio network.

  • Publication number: 20190098938
Abstract: The present invention provides a conductive substrate useful for Joule heating, such as in an electronic smoking article. Particularly, the invention provides a resistive heating element formed of a conductive substrate. The conductive substrate comprises an electrically conductive material and a carbonaceous additive, such as a binder material. The conductive substrate is carbonized in that it is subjected to calcining conditions to effectively reduce the carbonaceous additive to its carbon skeleton. It has been found that such carbonized substrate has surprisingly improved resistance properties in relation a substrate of the same formulation that is not carbonized. The carbonized substrate can include an aerosol precursor material. The formed resistive heating element can be included in an electronic smoking article to simultaneously provide resistive heating and aerosol formation with a single, unitary component.

  • Publication number: 20190095438
Abstract: Technologies for automating content generation are described. During content generation, interim content is transmitted to a research module. The resource module analyzes the interim content, determines additional information associated with the interim content and relationships between the additional information and the interim content. The additional information is transmitted to a content generator for potential addition to the content being generated.

  • Publication number: 20190034481
Abstract: Technologies are described herein for generating an information source, such as a newsletter. Sources of information are retrieved, analyzed, and, as a result of the analysis, search articles are generated. The search articles are generated in a manner that is more suited to the search and retrieval of information to form information sources. Filters applicable to the search articles are generated when the search articles are generated. The filters are used to organize the search articles, generate and organize chapters, generate a table of contents, and generate an index.

  • Publication number: 20180324763
Abstract: A more efficient network can be achieved using channel allocation strategies within a wireless network. A network device can receive several data points from a mobile device including resource request data, access condition data, and location data. Once the network device has received the aforementioned data points, the network device can identify channels that are conducive to a heightened quality of service for a resource being requested based on a signal attenuation associated with the channel. The network device can then facilitate a channel selection in response to an assessment of the data points and identifying a channel for the resource.
