  • Publication number: 20250065132
Abstract: An intracardiac pacemaker system is configured to produce physiological atrial event signals by a sensing circuit of a ventricular intracardiac pacemaker and select a first atrial event input as the physiological atrial event signals. The ventricular intracardiac pacemaker detects atrial events from the selected first atrial event input, determines if input switching criteria are met, and switches from the first atrial event input to a second atrial event input in response to the input switching criteria being met. The second atrial event input includes broadcast atrial event signals produced by a second implantable medical device and received by the ventricular intracardiac pacemaker.

  • Publication number: 20250067090
Abstract: An anti-theft device for securing merchandise against theft. The anti-theft device has a stand that mounts onto a display surface. A pair of arms is disposed in a linear sliding relationship relative to the stand. The arms terminate with inwardly facing grips that receive the opposing edges or corners of the merchandise. The arms have gear racks operatively engaged by a pinion gear. The pinion gear is joined to a concentrically aligned worm wheel, which is operatively engaged by a worm. A motor is configured to selectively spin the worm in the first or the second direction, thereby selectively retracting or extending the arms relative to the stand to secure or release the merchandise, respectively. The worm drive immobilizes the arms against being extended from the stand using manual force, thereby locking the merchandise to the stand. A fob may be used to transmit a signal that actuates the motor.

  • Publication number: 20250067089
Abstract: An anti-theft device for securing a laptop computer or a similar electronic device against theft. The anti-theft device has a stand that mounts onto a display surface. A pair of arms is disposed in a linear sliding relationship relative to a housing affixed to the stand. The arms terminate with inwardly grips that receive the opposing edges of a lid portion of a laptop. The arms have gear racks operatively engaged by a pinion gear, which is joined to a concentrically aligned ratchet gear. A pawl operatively engages the ratchet gear, permitting the ratchet gear and the pinion gear to rotate only in one direction, while precluding reverse rotation. Thus, the adjustable arms can inwardly retract while the pawl engages the ratchet gear, but cannot outwardly extend. A solenoid is disposed within the housing and, when energized, retracts the pawl away from the ratchet gear, thus unlocking the arms.

  • Patent number: 12233400
Abstract: Described herein are super absorbent materials (SAMs) and methods of making SAMs. The SAMs are copolymerized after formation of monomer complexes to incorporate select inorganic salts into the polymerized SAMS. The SAMs are copolymerized with select stable inorganic salts and/or with select redox active inorganic salts. The SAMS are copolymerized in a single-step polymerization process or in a staged polymerization process. The copolymer-based SAMs have significantly improved absorbance properties. The compositions and methods described herein are useful in a variety of absorbent products.

  • Patent number: 12234702
Abstract: Systems and methods for landing a tubing hanger in a wellhead and then orienting a tree (or spool, or flowline connection body) relative to the tubing hanger while landing the tree on the wellhead are provided. This alignment is accomplished without the use of either a tubing spool or a BOP stack with an orientation pin. The tubing hanger alignment devices may be used to orientate the tree as the tree is landed so that the couplings and stabs between the tree and the tubing hanger line up with each other just at the moment of landing.

  • Patent number: 12233239
Abstract: Embodiments relate to systems, methods and devices for delivering a drug or other therapy to a patient with an ambulatory infusion pump configured to provide a series of tolerance-building steps leading up to a plateau delivery rate. The plateau delivery rate is maintained until the prescribed amount of drug or therapy fluid is delivered to the patient. Embodiments of the invention include providing the patient or other user with a mechanism to decrease, or step down, the therapy delivery rate if a tolerance was not achieved at a lower rate, and providing notifications prior to a step up in a dosage delivery rate.

  • Patent number: 12238197
Abstract: Encryption of an image is achieved through application of a homomorphic encryption function to produce cipher images for each image. Encryption is performed individually on sub-values of a pixel's intensity value, wherein the pixel's intensity value can be described as a sum of the smaller numerical sub-values. The encrypted values for each sub-value form encrypted images that can be transferred or stored on insecure media. Separate encryption approaches can be applied to individual sets of the numerical sub-values to improve security.

  • Patent number: 12233267
Abstract: An implantable medical device is configured determine a numerical value of a variable that is monitored by the implantable medical device and convert the numerical value to a data sequence of modulated electrical stimulation rate intervals. The implantable medical device delivers electrical stimulation pulses according to the data sequence of modulated stimulation rate intervals to cause a modulated rate of activation of excitable tissue of a patient corresponding to the modulated stimulation rate intervals. The modulated rate of activation is detectable by a rate monitor for demodulation to the numerical value of the monitored variable data value. In some examples, the implantable medical device is a pacemaker delivering cardiac pacing pulses according to modulated pacing rate intervals to cause a modulated heart rate of the patient detectable by a heart rate monitor for demodulation to the numerical value of the monitored variable.

  • Publication number: 20250060750
Abstract: This application relates generally to robotic control/navigation and is specifically directed to a Torso-dynamics Estimation System (TES) for estimating leaning and twisting torso motions of a seated user and using such estimation or measurement signals to control movement of physical or virtual robotic devices or avatars solely using the user's upper body motion. For example, these signals can be used in lean-to-steer scenarios where the seated user is a rider/driver in a personal mobility device (e.g., powered chair or scooter), vehicle (e.g., car or drone), industrial equipment (e.g., excavator), or humanoid robot/avatar that could be in the physical or virtual worlds. Thus, TES offers a hands-free human-robot interaction for controlling a mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20250058586
Abstract: An axle assembly includes a carrier housing defining a receiving bore that receives a hollow axle tube. An axle shaft extends through the axle tube to an outboard end and is fixed to a wheel hub that extends around the axle tube and is rotatable relative thereto. The axle tube is attached within the receiving bore via an interference fit. The receiving bore is defined by an inner ring of a dual ring structure. A plurality of ribs extend radially between the inner ring and the outer ring of the dual ring structure. The dual ring structure has a reduced stress concentration relative to a single ring structure caused by bending loads resulting from upward reaction forces at the wheel end in response to downward chassis loads on the axle tube. The carrier housing and axle tube are different materials and fixed together without the use of welding.

  • Publication number: 20250059677
Abstract: A method of growing single crystal diamond assisted by polycrystalline diamond growth to enhance dimensions and quality of the single crystal diamond includes thermally mating a diamond seed on a top surface of a substrate holder providing a growth surface for a combination of single crystal diamond and polycrystalline diamond. A predetermined temperature difference between the diamond seed and the substrate holder during processing along with the plasma process conditions causes a single crystal diamond growth rate to be different from a polycrystalline growth rate by a predetermined amount. Process gasses are introduced, and a plasma is formed to grow both single crystal diamond and polycrystalline diamond on the growth surface so that the polycrystalline diamond grown adjacent to the single crystal diamond shields side surfaces of the growing single crystal diamond, thereby improving growth quality across the growing single crystal diamond.
