  • Patent number: 10776551
Abstract: A method (of generating a layout diagram) includes: identifying, in the layout diagram, a group of three or more cells which violates a horizontal constraint vector (HCV) and is arranged so as to exhibit two or more vertically-aligned edge-pairs (VEPs); each VEP including two members representing at least partial portions of vertical edges of corresponding cells of the group; relative to a horizontal direction, the members of each VEP being disposed in edgewise-abutment and separated by a corresponding actual gap; and the HCV having separation thresholds, each of which has a corresponding VEP and represents a corresponding minimum gap in the horizontal direction between the members of the corresponding VEP; and for each of at least one but fewer than all of the separation thresholds, selectively moving a given one of cells corresponding to one of the members of the corresponding VEP thereby to avoid violating the HCV.

  • Patent number: 10731224
Abstract: Cell-free DNA molecules in a mixture of a biological sample can be analyzed to detect viral DNA. Methylation of viral DNA molecules at one or more sites in the viral genome can be determined. Mixture methylation level(s) can be measured based on one or more amounts of the plurality of cell-free DNA molecules methylated at a set of site(s) of the particular viral genome. The mixture methylation level(s) can be determined in various ways, e.g., as a density of cell-free DNA molecules that are methylated at a site or across multiple sites or regions. The mixture methylation level(s) can be compared to reference methylation level(s), e.g., determined from at least two cohorts of other subjects. The cohorts can have different classifications (including the first condition) associated with the particular viral genome. A first classification of whether the subject has the first condition can be determined based on the comparing.

  • Patent number: 10633713
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to applications (e.g., classification of biological samples) of the analysis of the count, the fragmentation patterns, and size of cell-free nucleic acids, e.g., plasma DNA and serum DNA, including nucleic acids from pathogens, such as viruses. Embodiments of one application can determine if a subject has a particular condition. For example, a method of present disclosure can determine if a subject has cancer or a tumor, or other pathology. Embodiments of another application can be used to assess the stage of a condition, or the progression of a condition over time. For example, a method of the present disclosure may be used to determine a stage of cancer in a subject, or the progression of cancer in a subject over time (e.g., using samples obtained from a subject at different times).

  • Patent number: 10216997
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for providing information in an augmented reality display are provided. In example embodiments, an initial continuous stream of image data captured by a client device is received. An object within the continuous stream of image data is initially identified. The continuous stream of image data is further received and comprises additional image data regarding the object. The additional image data provides more visual details and features of the object than the initially received image data. Using the additional visual data, the identification of the object is refined to indicate a specific type of object. Based on the refined identification of the object, a search for information pertaining to the specific type of object is performed. A result is formatted to be displayed with a real-time image of the object on the client device.

  • Patent number: 10192019
Abstract: A computer implemented method for routing a first path in a circuit design is presented. The method includes iteratively building a multitude of partial-paths to route the first path by adding an incremental length to a selected previously built partial-path when the computer is invoked to route the first path in the circuit design, the adding being performed in accordance with at least a first design rule. The multitude of partial-paths start at a first location. The method further includes comparing each of the multitude of partial-paths to each other when the multitude of partial-paths end on a common second location different from the first location, and saving one of the multitude of partial-paths that leads to a shortest first path. The method further includes eliminating one of the multitude of partial-paths that are not selected to lead to the shortest first path.

  • Patent number: 10046883
Abstract: A toy figure display stand displays a toy figure behind a transparent fluid-retaining wall, thus simulating immersion of the toy figure within the transparent fluid. The simulated immersion provides an additional level of engagement between the toy figure and a child or collector. The wall may include an interior transparent shell portion and an exterior transparent shell portion. The interior transparent shell portion and the exterior transparent shell portion may together define a cavity. A fluid may be received within the cavity.
