  • Publication number: 20160335498
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for providing information in an augmented reality display are provided. In example embodiments, an initial continuous stream of image data captured by a client device is received. An object within the continuous stream of image data is initially identified. The continuous stream of image data is further received and comprises additional image data regarding the object. The additional image data provides more visual details and features of the object than the initially received image data. Using the additional visual data, the identification of the object is refined to indicate a specific type of object. Based on the refined identification of the object, a search for information pertaining to the specific type of object is performed. A result is formatted to be displayed with a real-time image of the object on the client device.

  • Patent number: 9430796
Abstract: An advertised product is associated with an option to directly purchase the advertised product. A payment processing system receives an input from a user device of a selection on the user device of the option to directly purchase the advertised product. In response to receiving the input from the user device to directly purchase the advertised product, a time-out period for modifying the selection of the option to directly purchase the advertised product is provided. When the payment processing system determines that the time-out period for modifying the selection to directly purchase the advertised product has expired, the payment processing system automatically completes a purchase of the advertised product on behalf of the user. If, however, the payment processing system receives a modification input from the user before the time-out period expires, the payment processing system ceases the automatic purchase transaction and processes the received modification input.

  • Patent number: 9385542
Abstract: A serial battery charger has a battery matrix with switches that are configured by a microcontroller that reads voltages between batteries to determine if each battery is fully-charged, charging, or absent. A switch configuration allows charging and discharging currents to flow simultaneously, and allows discharging current but blocks charging current from fully-charged batteries to prevent over-charging. The charging current flows through all charging batteries in series while the discharging current flows from all fully-charged and charging batteries in series. Blocking and bypass switches route the charging current to all charging batteries in series, but bypass all fully-charged and absent batteries. The blocking and bypass switches route the discharging current serially through all fully-charged and charging batteries in the battery matrix while avoiding absent batteries. The switches are controlled by the switch configuration from the microcontroller.

  • Publication number: 20150294384
Abstract: Methods and systems for making competitive sales or incentive offers from merchants through a service provider to a user while protecting user privacy enable merchants to make offers that are based on a user shopping wish list—which may be either transient (having a pre-set expiration time) or non-transient—in which the wish lists are provided from users through the service provider to merchants in a secure and private manner. A computer-implemented method includes: sending, to a merchant device of a merchant, some wish list data about a wish list item for a user, the wish list data containing no specifically identifying information about the user; receiving, by a service provider device of a service provider, an offer about the wish list item from the merchant based on the wish list data; and providing, to a user device for the user, the offer about the wish list item.

  • Patent number: 9035529
Abstract: A commutator has a plurality of commutator segments fixed to an insulating support member. The commutator segments are formed by cold or hot forming a copper billet cut from a length of copper wire. Each billet has a volume approximately equal to the volume of one commutator segment. Each commutator segment has a main body and an anchor integrally formed with the main body. The commutator segments are spaced about a circle and then an insulating support member is molded to the commutator segments to fix the commutator segments to the support member.

  • Publication number: 20150089465
Abstract: A computer implemented method for routing a first path in a circuit design is presented. The method includes iteratively building a multitude of partial-paths to route the first path by adding an incremental length to a selected previously built partial-path when the computer is invoked to route the first path in the circuit design, the adding being performed in accordance with at least a first design rule. The multitude of partial-paths start at a first location. The method further includes comparing each of the multitude of partial-paths to each other when the multitude of partial-paths end on a common second location different from the first location, and saving one of the multitude of partial-paths that leads to a shortest first path. The method further includes eliminating one of the multitude of partial-paths that are not selected to lead to the shortest first path.

  • Patent number: 8875081
Abstract: A method for designing and making an integrated circuit is described. That method utilizes statistical models of wire segments to accurately estimate the expected length of minimum-length, orthogonal wire segments within a block. From these estimates, the method accurately estimates an ratio between the horizontal and vertical routing resources required, termed the “H/V Demand Ratio.” From the H/V Demand Ratio, an accurate estimate of the height and width of the block may be determined. Thereafter, placement and routing may be performed quickly and accurately, thereby allowing the block to be designed and manufactured quickly and cost effectively. A method for designing an integrated circuit with efficient metal-1 resource utilization is also described.

  • Publication number: 20140057860
Abstract: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and the method of preparation thereof. The aforesaid pharmaceutical composition is prepared by the following components in weight percent: 0.1%-0.3% scutellarin, 20%-25% co-surfactant, 40-50% surfactant, and 25-30% oil. The method of preparing the aforesaid pharmaceutical composition comprises the steps of: (1) dispersing scutellarin in co-surfactant and surfactant to obtain a mixture; (2) dispersing the mixture from step (1) in oil, and thermostatically and magnetically stirring the dispersion mixture under the temperature of 25° C. to 37° C., such that the components thereof are completely dissolved to obtain the pharmaceutical composition. Through the use of the selected pharmaceutical adjuvants having the ability to inhibit MRP2, the aforesaid pharmaceutical composition effectively improves absorption and bioavailability of scutellarin.
