  • Publication number: 20100210193
Abstract: In a wobbling device of a sand belt grinder of the invention, a set of electromagnetic movable members is disposed outside a sand belt shaft base, and micro switches are disposed under two sides of the sand belt shaft base so that the control of continuously powering on and off is generated and the electromagnetic movable members generate continuously attracting and releasing operations. In addition, the movable members drive the shaft base and a sand belt to generate reciprocated wobbling operations at specific angles. Thus, when the sand belt is grinding, the sand belt generates the leftward and rightward sliding movement in a larger area so that the excellent polishing effect and the economic effectiveness can be obtained.

  • Publication number: 20100139446
Abstract: A gear lever assembly for a car includes a gear lever, a support unit, a control unit and a power supply unit. The support unit includes a housing, a transparent body, a sphere, an electric wire, and an insulating member. The control unit is used to control operation of the sphere and the electric wire. The power supply unit is used to provide an electric power to the electric wire. The sphere produces a blink (or light) by operation of a high voltage static electricity. The insulating member is enclosed around the electric wire to prevent from incurring a static electricity leakage from the housing and the transparent body so as to prevent the static electricity from interfering with operation of the electronic systems in the car.

  • Publication number: 20090295735
Abstract: An electronic device and a method for automatically converting text to be displayed on a display screen of an electronic device into a speech signal when ambient light conditions affect viewing of the text. The method is performed by the electronic device and the method includes receiving a command to display text on the display screen and determining if an ambient light signal provided by an ambient light sensor is above a pre-determined viewing threshold. This ambient light signal corresponds to ambient light conditions adjacent the display screen. The method also includes automatically converting the text to a speech signal when the ambient light signal is above the pre-determined viewing threshold. Suitably, there is performed a step of emitting the speech signal in an audible form from a speaker.

  • Publication number: 20080156161
Abstract: The invention provides a positioning device for a saw blade elevating platform of a wood sawing machine. More specifically, when a transmission base for controlling a saw blade to elevate in the wood sawing machine is elevated to and positioned at a predetermined position, a predetermined pressing bar disposed in a guiding seat of a mounting seat, at which the elevating platform is located, is pressed by external screws to force the elevating platform to be positioned at a set position. Thus, the saw blade, which is rotated at the high rotating speed and is applied with a high reaction force, can be held absolutely stable, and the operating stability and the precision can be greatly enhanced.
