Abstract: A method of bearer deletion is provided to improve the universality of the bearer deletion process. The method includes: receiving, by the original intermediate NE, the cancellation type indication parameter sent by the HSS, and deleting the bearer between the serving gateway (S-GW) and a packet data network gateway (P-GW), if the original intermediate network element obtains an attach type according to the cancellation type indication parameter indicating an attach type and a corresponding bearer exists on the original intermediate NE. This method helps efficiently improve the universality of the bearer deletion flow.

Abstract: A discontinuous reception communication synchronization method and apparatus. The apparatus includes a processor and a non-transitory computer readable medium having a program stored thereon for execution by the processor. The program includes instructions for receiving a system message that is broadcast by a base station and that indicates whether the base station supports a capability of extended discontinuous reception (DRX), sending an extended DRX value to a network element of a core network in response to the base station supporting the capability of the extended DRX, receiving, from the network element of the core network, an extended DRX support indicator indicating that network element of the core network supports the extended DRX, calculating a paging time using the extended DRX value, and receiving a paging message delivered by the base station according to the paging time.

Abstract: A data flow transmission method, a device, and a system relating to the communications field, are provided, so as to resolve a problem of resource waste caused when a relay user equipment provides a relay service for a remote user equipment. A specific solution is as follows: A first network device triggers a first relay user equipment to establish a common data flow bearer with a second network device, and the first network device sends an identifier of a common data flow to a remote user equipment in a first group before or after the first network device triggers the first relay user equipment to establish the common data flow bearer with the second network device. Embodiments of the present invention are applied to data flow transmission.

In this way, when the UE changes to a reachable state for downlink data, the MME requests the SGW to send the downlink data, and the MME then sends the downlink data to the UE, thereby avoiding loss of the downlink data caused by delivery of the downlink data to the UE that is in an unreachable state, and improving real-time accuracy of transmission.

According to the method, additional signaling interaction is reduced.

The method includes: receiving, by a network side device, a bearer handover message; and determining, by the network side device according to the bearer handover message, a bearer needing to be handed over in all bearers, so that an end marker End Marker message is sent to a source base station only for the bearer needing to be handed over. By using the foregoing solutions, for a multi-connection scenario, a network side device can determine a bearer needing to be handed over, so that an end marker message is sent only for the bearer needing to be handed over, which can prevent discarding of subsequent data of a bearer that is not to be handed over, and ensure multiple connections between a UE and base stations, thereby improving stability of a system.

Abstract: A data communication method, a communication system, and related devices are configured to establish a transaction identifier (TI) in a user equipment (UE). The data communication method includes the following steps. A mobility management entity (MME) receives a request message and obtains ability information of the UE. If the UE has an ability to access a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network/GSM/EDGE Radio Access Network (UTRAN/GERAN), the MME generates the TI. A communication system and related devices are also provided. Thus, the TI is effectively established in the UE, so as to ensure normal processing of the UE.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method, an apparatus, and a system for managing an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI) status of a terminal device. An IMSI of a second terminal device is activated or deactivated through interaction between a first terminal device and a core network node, so that the second terminal device does not participate in activating or deactivating the IMSI of the second terminal device. Therefore, power consumption of the second terminal device can be reduced, and a requirement of an Internet of Things application scenario can be met.

In embodiments of the present invention, the group trigger system includes: an interworking function (IWF) entity, configured to send a trigger delivery request to an entity that has a trigger function; and the entity that has a trigger function, configured to, after receiving the trigger delivery request sent by the IWF entity, return a trigger delivery acknowledgement message to the IWF entity, and delivers, according to the trigger delivery request, an acquired group trigger payload to a user equipment UE. The entity that has a group trigger function delivers the group trigger payload to the UE, so as to effectively implement group trigger, avoid point-to-point trigger, and save system resources.
