    Abstract: Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for acutely raising nitric oxide levels in a subject. In one example, the composition can include, an effective amount of a NOS dependent source of nitric oxide; an effective amount of a NOS independent source of nitric oxide; and an effective amount of a myeloperoxidase inhibitor; wherein the composition acutely raises nitric oxide levels in a subject above a level provided by the available sources of nitric oxide in the subject prior to administration of the composition. Further presented is a method of treating a subject for a condition or disorder that is response to nitric oxide therapy, including: acutely raising nitric oxide levels in a subject by simultaneously increasing biosynthesis of nitric oxide, increasing nitrate/nitrite levels, and inhibiting meyloperoxidase activity.

    Abstract: An electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit is provided to minimize ESD damage to an internal circuit in a CDM model. The ESD protection circuit includes two stages of discharging circuits that are coupled to an IO pin and the internal circuit, a first power clamp circuit, and a second power clamp circuit. The first power clamp circuit is electrically connected to a power rail and a ground rail to discharge a part of a current to the ground, and the second power clamp circuit is electrically connected to a second-stage discharging circuit and the ground rail, so that the other part of the current is discharged to the ground through the second power clamp circuit.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for removing benzo[?]pyrene from a liposoluble natural extract. The method of the present invention comprises adding a suitable solvent to a crude natural extract product so as to obtain a mixed material; heating the mixed material, stirring until uniform, cooling and layering, and then separating the upper layer from the lower layer so as to obtain a precipitate and a filtrate; washing the precipitate with a small amount of a solvent so as to obtain a washed product and a washing solution; removing the solvent from the washed product at a low temperature so as to obtain a finished product; and directly recycling the filtrate and the washing solution as solvents. The present method achieves the purification of the crude natural extract product and the removal of benzo[?]pyrene in one step, and is a novel method which is simple, highly efficient, feasible and easy for industrial applications.
