Abstract: A mounting apparatus for a solid state disk includes a bracket and a latching module. The bracket includes a connecting pole and a supporting member mounted to the connecting pole. The latching module is installed to the supporting member, and comprises a latching member. The supporting member includes a position pole mounted to the connecting pole and a supporting bar perpendicularly extending out from the position pole. The position pole defines a latching slot facing the supporting bar for positioning an end of the solid state disk. The supporting bar defines a guiding slot facing the latching slot for receiving a side of the solid state disk. The latching member is to latch onto the solid state disk.

Abstract: A device for mounting a riser card includes a base board forming two rods, a motherboard forming an expansion slot to connect the riser card, and a fixing member having two legs at opposite ends. The rods extend through the motherboard and are positioned at opposite ends of the expansion slot. Each rod contains a resilient member inside, and a ball mounted to the resilient member and partly extending out of the rod. The riser card is fixed to the fixing member. Each leg defines a cylindrical hole fitted about one of the rods. The balls partly extend out of the corresponding rods and block tops of the corresponding legs.

Abstract: In one aspect of the invention, an acoustic wave device includes a substrate, an acoustic isolator formed in or on the substrate, a bottom electrode formed on the acoustic isolator, a piezoelectric layer formed on the bottom electrode, a top electrode formed on the piezoelectric layer, and boundary means such as a gasket surrounding one of the first and second electrodes whose perimeter is aligned inside the perimeter of the acoustic isolator. The gasket has a lateral side having a wall profile, a curve profile, a multi-step profile, a gradually variable profile, or a combination of them.

Abstract: A motherboard includes an interface and a switch module. The interface includes first to eighth pins used to connect a component object model (COM) connector or a registered jack 45 (RJ45) connector. The switch module is connected to the interface. The switch module is also connected to a serial communication bus and an Ethernet bus on the motherboard. The switch module is used to determine the type of a connector connected to the interface, and connect the connector to the serial communication bus or the Ethernet bus according to the determination.

Abstract: A jumper assembly includes a connector and a jumper. The connector includes a main body, and a number of pins attached to the main body and arranged a row. Two hooking slots are defined in opposite sides of the main body. The jumper includes a conductive tab formed at a bottom of the jumper, and two hooks formed at opposite sides of the jumper and slidably engaging in the hooking slots. When the jumper is slid to allow opposite ends of the conductive tab to contact two neighboring pins of the number of pins, the conductive tab connects the neighboring pins. When the jumper is slid to allow a middle of the conductive tab to contact one of the pins in the middle, the conductive tab do not contact any other pin.

Abstract: In a method to check burned-in files, a file is obtained from a storage device and a checksum value of the file is computed. A burning-in check system is integrated into the file, and then the file is burned-in a complex programmable logic device (CPLD) chip. The checksum value of the file is outputted from a first pin of the CPLD chip to a second pin of the CPLD chip, the checksum value outputted from the second pin is compared with the computed checksum value, to check if the file has been burned-in correctly, and a checking results of whether the file has been burned-in the CPLD chip correctly is send to an output device by the burning-in check system. The output device then outputs the checking results using a preset output mode.

Abstract: A memory card includes a control chip, a buffer, a NAND gate, and an inverter. The memory card has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A first group of conductive pins is located on the first surface, and connected to the buffer through a first channel. A second group of conductive pins is located on the second surface, and connected to the buffer through a second channel. An order of pins of the first group of conductive pins located on the first surface from left to right is the same as an order of pins of the second group of conductive pins located on the second. The buffer is electrically connected to the control chip. Data can be transmitted between the first group of conductive pins or the second group of conductive pins and the control chip through the buffer.

The jumper is slidably mounted to the connector. The jumper includes a conductive tab on a bottom of the jumper. When the jumper is slid to allow opposite ends of the conductive tab to abut two neighboring pins, the conductive tab electrically connects the neighboring pins. The jumper may slid be to a position where no pins are electrically connected to each other.

The canister includes a columnar sidewall bounding a receiving space and an installation board mounted in the receiving space. The assistant member includes a first vent pipe, and a second vent pipe communicating with the first vent pipe and slidably mounted to the first vent pipe. Top ends of the first outlet pipe and the first vent pipe extend through the installation board and communicate with an upper portion of the receiving space. Bottom ends of the first outlet pipe and the second vent pipe function as outlets of the heat gun.

Each CRF has an input port, an output port, a bottom film bulk acoustic resonator (FBAR), an acoustic decoupler formed on the bottom FBAR, and a top FBAR formed on the acoustic decoupler. Each FBAR has a bottom electrode, a piezoelectric layer formed on the bottom electrode, and a top electrode formed on the piezoelectric layer. The decoupling layer capacitance arising between the two electrodes enclosing the acoustic decoupler in a CRF is configured to achieve targeted filter response. A compensating capacitance is introduced to improve the amplitude and phase imbalance performance of an unbalanced to balanced CRF by eliminating the existence of asymmetric port-to-ground or feedback capacitance at the balanced output port produced by the decoupling layer capacitance.

Abstract: A thin film transistor and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. A top-gate thin film transistor is fabricated by a process using two gray-tone photomasks and a lift-off method. Therefore, the method can save cost of photomasks and processes comparing to a conventional fabrication method.
