The information transmission method includes: receiving transmission information containing data, which is transmitted by a transmitting device in a grant-free manner; identification information of the transmitting device is explicitly or implicitly carried in the transmission information; demodulating and checking the transmission information, and determining whether the identification information of the transmitting device and the data contained in the transmission information are correctly obtained; and feeding control information containing ACK/NACK back to the transmitting device, by using the identification information of the transmitting device or using sequence information of a DM-RS that is used for demodulating the transmission information.

Abstract: An apparatus includes: an adaptive declustered RAID array configured of data storage devices (DSDs), the DSDs comprise data chunks allocated as data, a local parity, or a global parity; and a controller configured to generate a reliability indicator reflective of a reliability status of at least a portion of the adaptive declustered RAID array for reallocating the data chunks by dynamically increasing or decreasing the data chunks allocated as the local parity, the global parity, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for transmitting reference signal and a communication system. The method includes: transmitting first information on one or more beams formed by a plurality of antennas in beam sweeping duration, the first information at least comprising a synchronization channel, a first reference signal and a physical broadcast channel. Hence, a receiving device may demodulate the physical broadcast channel by using the first reference signal, thereby achieving design of beam reference signals in a beam sweeping system.

Abstract: A paging apparatus and method and a communication system. The paging method includes: determining a paging occasion of a user equipment based on one or more beam identities in a paging set; and transmitting a beam-based paging message to the UE when the paging occasion arrives. Hence, when the paging occasion of the user equipment arrives, beams of the base station may be directed to the user equipment, and a paging message may be efficiently and reliably transmitted.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for multiplexing demodulation reference signals and a communication system. The method for multiplexing includes: transmitting data and DM-RSs by using one or more time-frequency resource blocks; the DM-RSs of each UE or each data stream occupy a part of frequency-domain resources of the time-frequency resource blocks, the DM-RSs of a part of UEs or data streams are superimposed on identical time-domain resources in a manner of frequency-division multiplexing, and the DM-RSs of a part of the UEs or data streams are superimposed on identical time-frequency resources in a manner of code-division multiplexing. Hence, even if in a case of massive UEs access, the DM-RSs may be multiplexed within given time-frequency resources, while performance of transmission may still be ensured.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for accessing data on a storage system. An apparatus, such as a data storage device or a computing device, may include a memory configured to store data. The apparatus is configured to receive a request for a file stored in a storage system. The storage system includes a private storage cloud and a set of public storage clouds. The apparatus is also configured to determine whether the file is retrievable from the set of public storage clouds. If the file is retrievable from the set of public storage clouds the apparatus may determine whether access to the set of public storage clouds is faster than access to the private storage cloud and may retrieve the file from one or more of the private storage cloud and the set of public storage clouds.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a group communication apparatus and method and a communication system. The group communication method includes: scrambling data information of a message by using corresponding scrambling information according to a message type and/or a message transmission range; wherein, different message types and/or message transmission ranges correspond to different scrambling information. Therefore, internal members or peripheral devices of a group may selectively receive messages of different types or different target ranges. Hence, not only messages may be ensured to be accurately received by corresponding receivers, but also security of internal message may be improved.

Abstract: A message transmitting/receiving apparatus and method and a communication system. The message transmitting method includes: determining a message type of a message to be transmitted to one or more user equipments; scrambling control information of the message by using an identity to which the message type corresponds; wherein, different identities correspond to different message types; and transmitting data information of the message and the scrambled control information to the one or more user equipments. Hence, the user equipment may not proceed with processing a message that is not preferred, thereby lowering power consumption of the user equipment.

Abstract: A resource allocation method, apparatus and communication system. A base station allocates a priority for each resource unit in the resource pool, and notifies information on the priorities to a user equipment in its coverage, such that the user equipment may select a corresponding resource unit for its message to be transmitted (a V2X packet) according to the configuration information on the priorities of the resource units from the base station. Hence, the probability of resource collision can be lowered, and the latency can be ensured to be low.

The method for feeding back channel state information includes: a UE feeds back channel state information to a base station, the channel state information including a link ID of a link between the UE and a neighboring UE, and/or a UEID of the neighboring UE, so that the base station allocates resources for each UE according to channel state information fed back by each UE. Hence, resource collision is reduced, and signal quality is improved.

Abstract: A network message notification apparatus and method and a communication system. The method includes: receiving a network message transmitted by a network device; the network message including indication information indicating a user identity range; parsing the indication information and determining whether a user identity of the UE falls within the user identity range indicated by the indication information; and determining whether the UE is notified by the network message according to a determination result. Hence, a magnitude of a network message in the communication system may be greatly reduced, and more UEs may be notified by using relatively few resources.
