Abstract: A method of inputting a hand-drawn pattern password includes the steps of providing a plurality of input keys on a touch panel; corresponding each of the input keys to a unique character, numeral, or a symbol; and causing a user to sequentially touch a sequence of some of the input keys on the touch panel to thereby draw a user-remembered pattern password, so that a sequence of characters, numerals, and/or symbols corresponding to the input keys for drawing the pattern password constitutes an effective password and are input.

Abstract: In a method for inquiring real-time travel-related information using a mobile communication device having satellite navigation software installed therein, the following are included: the mobile communication device sending a short message containing target GPS coordinates of a destination to a travel information server at an operation and maintenance center (OMC) of a mobile phone system; and the travel information server calculating based on the target GPS coordinates to locate a target mobile phone BTS that is closest to the destination, obtaining real-time weather information dynamically collected by weather monitors at the target mobile phone BTS, and transmitting the weather information along with separately collected visitor density information in connection with the destination to the mobile communication device.

Abstract: A method for automatically changing incoming call alert profile upon the current location, implements on a GPS-functioned portable communication device. The method continually obtains a location coordinate, compares the location coordinate with a comparison list to match an incoming call alert profile for the portable communication device's current incoming call alert profile. Thus, wherever the portable communication device moves to, a reaction will be presented automatically according to the current incoming call alert profile when an incoming call comes.

Abstract: A burglarproof apparatus, which is built in an electronic machine with a communication connecting port being electrically connected to an end of a communication cable and another end of the communication cable being connected to a communication device, includes a detect unit, a controller and a warning component. The detect unit is connected to the communication connecting port via the communication cable for detecting if a communication signal, which is output by the communication device, is available at the communication connecting port and outputting a trigger signal in case of the communication signal being not provided. The controller is connected to the detect unit to receive the trigger signal and control the warning component to perform an action.

Abstract: A device for indicating the power switch of a computer is disclosed in the invention, which is applied in portable computers and indicates the position of a power switch of a portable computer when the computer is in shutdown status. The portable computer comprises at least a monitor and a main system, wherein an indicating device is also disposed in the portable computer; the indicating device includes a detecting unit, an illuminating element, and a controller. The detecting unit detects whether the monitor and the main system have been unclosed and separated from each other; if the detection result is “true”, a trigger signal is exported. The illuminating element is disposed in the proximity of the power switch on the portable computer. The controller accepts the trigger signal and adjusts the illumination of the illuminating element.

Abstract: A speaker capable of emitting light includes a housing, a plurality of light generators, and a speaker core. The housing formed by material capable of conducting light, used as a speaker chamber of the speaker, has a first opening and a second opening. The plurality of light generators is formed nearby the second opening for generating light. The speaker core is set in the first opening of the housing for generating sound.

Abstract: A lead-free solder reworking method. A solder tank including a nozzle and containing molten lead-free solder is provided. A printed circuit board assembly is placed on the solder tank. The printed circuit board assembly has a printed circuit board and a first electronic member. The printed circuit board has at least one through hole. The first electronic member has at least one first pin soldered in the through hole by lead-free solder. The through hole and first pin are located above the nozzle. A reworking temperature and a reworking time are established. The printed circuit board is heated until the temperature thereof reaches the reworking temperature. The nozzle outputs the molten lead-free solder from the solder tank to the through hole of the printed circuit board until the nozzle operates for the reworking time.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multimode communication device having an automatic call-back setting mechanism that includes a first wireless communication module for transmitting a first radio frequency signal and having a decision process; a second wireless communication module coupled to the first wireless communication module for transmitting a second radio frequency signal. If the first wireless communication module receives an incoming call signal of a communication system, the determination process will determine whether or not to terminate the incoming call signal and the second wireless communication module makes a call back to the communication system. The invention also discloses a method for automatically setting the call-back mechanism and a method for setting a man-machine interface for automatically setting a call-back mechanism.

Abstract: A computer system includes a multimedia processing unit and an access device. The access device is used for loading a video signal of a storage medium. When the computer system is powered off and a multimedia mode is entered, the multimedia processing unit detects whether the storage medium is connected to the access device. If the storage medium is connected to the access device, the multimedia processing unit processes the video signal.

Abstract: A screw alignment tool. The tool includes a base, a cover and a plurality of extending elements. The base has a plurality of fasteners, fixing two work pieces. The cover is disposed on the base through a connecting means and has a plurality of holes corresponding to the screw holes on the work pieces. The extending elements are disposed on the cover by the holes facing the base. Each extending element has a chute communicating with the hole of the cover. When the cover is moved to a predetermined operating position, the chutes are aligned with the screw holes, to better align screw mounting.

The substrate further includes a plurality of gate structures respectively positioned in the NMOS transistor regions and the PMOS transistor regions. A high-tensile thin film is then formed on the substrate and the plurality of gate structures. Subsequently, an annealing process is performed, and the high-tensile thin film is removed after the annealing process.
