    Abstract: The present invention discloses a gasket and a pipe joint using the same, which can achieve airtightness with a locking torque smaller than that used conventionally. The gasket of the present invention is interposed in between two coupling faces of a first pipe and a second pipe interconnecting to the first pipe, and each of the two coupling faces has at least one annular protrudent strip. The gasket of the present invention is characterized in that the gasket has at least one annular reception/contact member corresponding to the annular protrudent strip, and that the annular protrudent strip is pressed against the annular reception/contact member to form a twofold airtight mechanism with an inner annular contact area and an outer annular contact area. Thereby, the present invention can effectively promote the airtightness of the two coupling faces of the first pipe and the second pipe.

    Abstract: A sigma-delta modulator and an output rate reduction method are disclosed. The sigma-delta modulator comprises an integrator, an analog-to-digital converter, and a controller. An input signal is received by the integrator to generate an integrated signal. The integrated signal is then converted by the analog-to-digital converter into a digital modulation signal. The input signal is received by the controller to calculate an input signal power. The analog-to-digital converter can be controlled by the controller based on a predetermined power value and a sum of the input signal power and a total quantization error power. By the way mentioned above, the out rate of the sigma-delta modulator is reduced.

    Abstract: The present invention is related to a coupled-fed multi-band loop antenna. The antenna comprises a dielectric substrate, a ground plane located on the dielectric substrate and has a grounding point, a radiating portion which comprise a supporter, a coupling trip and a loop strip, and a matching circuit. The coupling strip and loop strip are both located on the supporter, with the coupling strip surrounded by the loop strip. The length of loop strip is about 0.25 wavelength of the antenna's first resonant mode. The loop strip has a first end paralleling with the coupling loop, a second end and a shorting point near the second end and electrically connected to the grounding point on the ground plane. The matching circuit is on the dielectric substrate. One terminal of the matching circuit is connected to the coupling strip, and the other is connected to a signal source.
