    Abstract: A cooling system for computer, a cooling apparatus and a cooling method are described. The cooling system includes a computer casing, a fan and the fan-less cooling apparatus. The fan-less cooling apparatus has an air passage with two open ends and a closed circumference. The air passage passes a heat dissipating part of the apparatus, one end of the air passage communicates with air outside the computer casing and the other end communicates with air inside the computer casing. a plurality of blowholes for the fan and the air passage are formed in the computer casing. There is at least one fan. Air is blown inside or outside through the blowholes, which causes a pressure difference between the interior and the exterior of the computer casing. The pressure difference leads an air flow to flow through the blowholes to dissipate heat.

    Abstract: Disruption of mitogen inducible gene 6 (Mig-6) in mice by homologous recombination (KO mice) led to early onset osteoarthritis (OA) as revealed by simultaneous enlargement and deformity of multiple joints, degradation of articular cartilage and the development of bony outgrowths or osteophytes within the joint space. Because of the striking similarity to human OA, Mig-6 KO mice are a useful animal model for studying the mechanism of this disease and for testing new drugs or therapies for treating OA. These KO mice also developed epithelial hyperplasia, adenoma, and adenocarcinoma in organs such as lung, gallbladder, and bile duct. Mig-6 is therefore a tumor suppressor gene and is a candidate gene for the frequent Ip36 genetic alterations found in lung cancer. It can be used as a tumor biomarker as well as a target for cancer therapy.

The converter circuit includes a converter module that generates keyboard data packets in the USB format having a 16-byte, 64-byte, etc. format representing key press information for up to 8 modifier keys and 14, 62, etc. non-modifier keys, respectively. The converter circuit also includes a USB device controller module which transmits the 16-byte etc. USB keyboard data as one or multiple USB data packets to the host computer. When multiple USB data packets are needed to transmit each keyboard data packet (depending on the USB speed), they are transmitted in consecutive polling periods.
