Abstract: The invention provides methods for the preparation of small molecule drugs that are chemically modified by covalent attachment of a water-soluble oligomer obtained from a water-soluble oligomer composition. Such drugs are produced through modification of a synthetic pathway to attach the oligomer to an intermediate compound followed by completion of the synthetic path.

Abstract: An exemplary solar cell module includes a main body, a number of solar cells, and a reflective layer. The main body defines a concavity surface defined thereon. The solar cells are positioned at the concavity surface and generally symmetrically arranged with respect to a central axis of the concavity surface, configured for converting sunlight to electricity. Abstract: An exemplary portable solar power generator includes a hollow light pervious housing, a light guide element, a condensing lens, a solar cell unit, and a connector assembly. The housing has a first refractive index, and sunlight enters the housing by passing through an outer surface thereof. The light guide element is positioned in and attached to the housing, which has a second refractive index larger than the first refractive index. The condensing lens is positioned in the housing, which is configured for converging the light incident thereon. The solar cell unit is positioned in the light pervious housing and located at a side of the condensing lens opposite to the light guide element. The solar cell unit is configured for receiving the light converged by the condensing lens and converting the received sunlight into electrical energy. The lampshade and the lamp are set on the inner side of the frame of the door. The KVM extender system transceives first data packet and second data packet transformed from first mass data of a first mass storage, second mass data of a second mass storage, keyboard/mouse data, audio/sound data with a cable therebetween. The first data packet and the second data packet transceived between the first and second Ethernet transceivers are controlled by a half duplex communication executed by two wires of the cable. Moreover, the first module further comprises a third interface to transceive third mass data from the computer coupled therewith. Abstract: A management system for converting commands in the terminal types and method thereof are disclosed. The management system couples a computing device, having a first terminal type, to a terminal. The management system includes a detecting unit, a conversion table, and a converting unit. The detecting unit of the management system detects whether the terminal has a second terminal type. The conversion table constitutes a conversion relationship between a first set of commands in the first terminal type and a second set of commands in the second terminal type correspondingly. The converting unit, in response to the detecting unit, converts the first set of commands in the first terminal type from the computing device into the second set of commands in the second terminal type according to the conversion table if the first set of commands in the first terminal type is unreadable for the terminal. Thus, the computing device controls the terminal to display correctly.

Abstract: In a KVM switch system in which one or more consoles and one or more computers are connected to a KVM switch via dongles (console dongles and computer dongles, respectively), a method is provided for transferring the extended display identification data (EDID) of a display of a console to a computer. When the console is booted, the corresponding console dongle queries the display to obtain its EDID, and transmits it to the computer dongle via the KVM switch. The computer dongle stores the received EDID in its memory. The computer dongle also stores a default EDID in its memory. When the computer queries EDID, the computer dongle provides either the received EDID to the computer, or provide the default EDID if no EDID has been received from the KVM switch.

Abstract: The techniques and mechanisms described herein are directed at transmitting elementary streams in a broadcast environment. The mechanisms provide a buffer controller and packet scheduler that allow a media format to be transmitted through the broadcasting environment in a manner resulting in a low channel switch delay. A buffer-fullness indicator allows the operation with various types of decoders. A lower bound and an upper bound are calculated for each frame within the elementary stream. The lower bound corresponds to an earliest time for sending the frame without causing an overflow condition within a decoder buffer. The upper bound corresponds to a latest time for sending the frame without causing an underflow condition within the decoder buffer. A send time is then scheduled based on the lower bound and the upper bound that determines when a packet associated with the frame is transmitted over a channel in a broadcast environment.
