In the method, a bearer configuration solution of a first sidelink and a bearer configuration solution of a second sidelink is provided, to meet an end-to-end quality of service requirement of data relay transmission. This increases a transmission distance of a user.

The method includes: a first network device sends configuration information of a first communication resource to a first terminal device. The first terminal device may configure the first communication resource based on the received configuration information. The first terminal device may listen to a paging message that is broadcast by the first network device on the first communication resource and that is used for paging a second terminal device, so that the first terminal device in a connected state can listen to a paging message for the second terminal device, and the second terminal device can establish a communication connection to the first network device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for data transmission. A remote device determines a sidelink multicast identifier identifying multicast between the remote device and a plurality of relay devices and sends uplink data to the plurality of relay devices in a multicast manner based on the sidelink multicast identifier. The uplink data is data sent by the remote device to a radio access network device. The remote device determines the sidelink multicast identifier, and sends the sidelink multicast identifier to the relay device to transmit the uplink data to the radio access network device based on multicast communication to improve uplink data transmission efficiency.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a wireless communication method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: obtaining mode information of a second terminal device, where the mode information indicates a resource scheduling manner of the second terminal device; and sending assistance information to the second terminal device based on the mode information, where the assistance information indicates one or more sets of sidelink transmission resources. Based on this solution, it can reduce resource conflicts or resource wastes, and therefore can properly and effectively allocate the sidelink transmission resource. In this way, sidelink communication efficiency can be improved.

Abstract: This application provides a sidelink carrier management method and apparatus, and a system. The method includes: A first communication apparatus obtains configuration information of a plurality of sidelink (SL) carriers. The first communication apparatus determines at least one SL carrier from the plurality of SL carriers. The first communication apparatus sends a first message to a second communication apparatus, where the first message includes information about the at least one SL carrier. According to the sidelink carrier management method provided in this application, a transmitting end communication apparatus determines at least one SL carrier for a unicast connection, and indicates the at least one SL carrier to a receiving end communication apparatus, to implement instant and effective management of the SL carrier. This improves SL carrier communication efficiency and a system capacity.

Particularly, the method and the apparatus are used for implementing routing between an AN device and remote UE in the multi-hop communication scenario. In the method, a relay terminal on a communication link may determine a transmission object by using route indication information of a data packet, or the route indication information and a target device identifier that are of the data packet, to transmit data carried in the data packet to the transmission object. In the method, routing transmission of the data packet may be guided by using route guide information, to ensure that the routing between the AN device and the remote UE can be implemented in the multi-hop communication scenario.

Abstract: A core network delivers two sets of quality of service (QoS) parameters to an access network device. The access network device selects one of the two sets of QoS parameters, and indicates the selected set of QoS parameters to the core network. An air interface rate required by the set of QoS parameters can be supported by a radio access network (RAN). In this way, a QoS parameter applied to a related user equipment (UE), a related bearer, a related packet data unit (PDU) session, or a related QoS flow can be effectively determined, and a hardware capability of an LTE base station does not need to be upgraded. In addition, the core network may set, based on a QoS parameter selected by a RAN side, a corresponding QoS management policy such as a rate adjustment policy, to facilitate data transmission between UE and the core network.
