  • Publication number: 20220346663
Abstract: The distal end of the catheter can be constructed to include one or more features to provide strain relief to wiring of multiple single axis sensors. In some examples, the multiple single axis sensors and associated wiring can be manufactured over a flexible tube that can be placed over a movable support member. In some examples, wiring can be wound an increased number of consecutive traverse turns on a distal and/or proximal side of a single axis sensor, and a shrink sleeve may be positioned over the traverse turns. In some examples a wire shield transition point can be positioned on a straight portion in a proximal direction to the distal portion of the catheter.

  • Patent number: 11483965
Abstract: A hand-held spreader is provided having a base with a mechanism for spreading particulate material response to turning a hand crank. The base is universally attachable to hoppers of different types which provide particulate material to the base for spreading. Different types of hoppers when attached to the base can adapt the spreader to spread different particulate material, such as of seed or salt. Teeth may be provided along upper edge of the hopper for use in scooping up particulate material into the hopper. Another type of hopper which can be attached to the base has a closed top end to provide a sealed container of particulate material, and has a sealing member releasable from the hopper to allow flow of particulate material from the hopper to the attached base.

  • Patent number: 11476852
Abstract: When a signal glitches, logic receiving the signal may change in response, thereby charging and/or discharging nodes within the logic and dissipating power. Providing a glitch-free signal may reduce the number of times the nodes are charged and/or discharged, thereby reducing the power dissipation. A technique for eliminating glitches in a signal is to insert a storage element that samples the signal after it is done changing to produce a glitch-free output signal. The storage element is enabled by a “ready” signal having a delay that matches the delay of circuitry generating the signal. The technique prevents the output signal from changing until the final value of the signal is achieved. The output signal changes only once, typically reducing the number of times nodes in the logic receiving the signal are charged and/or discharged so that power dissipation is also reduced.

  • Publication number: 20220316289
Abstract: Disclosed herein are various embodiments of well control system for drilling an oil or gas well safely and efficiently by providing a mechanical actuator capable of transmitting a rotational force downhole, and converting the rotational force to an axial force for the purpose of operating downhole equipment, including subsurface safety valves, compressible bladder valves, and sliding sleeve valves. Because the actuator is mechanical and not hydraulic as in conventional equipment, the force applied is independent of the depth at which it is applied, overcoming a major deficiency seen in comparable hydraulic systems.

  • Patent number: 11461553
Abstract: A computer inputs data including different verbal judgment sets. Each different verbal judgment set includes words which are votes that define different rank values and each represents an evaluation of an alternative. The processor determines a word similarity score of each word in the verbal judgment sets to predefined words in a predefined scale. The processor determines a set similarity score between the different verbal judgment set and the predefined scale based on the words included in the different verbal judgment set and the predefined words within the predefined scale. The processor maps the words of the different verbal judgment sets to a numerical scale that corresponds to the predefined scale, based on the set similarity score. The processor interprets the different verbal judgment sets in the universe of known data based on the numerical scale and provides cleansed data which is used by a data-dependent application.

  • Patent number: 11447786
Abstract: Plant cell fate and development is altered by treating cells with cellular reprogramming factors. Embryogenesis inducing morphogenic developmental genes are used as cellular reprogramming factors, specifically comprising polypeptides or polynucleotides encoding gene products for generating doubled haploids or haploid plants from gametes. Maize microspores treated by contacting the isolated cells with an exogenous purified, recombinant embryogenesis inducing morphogenic developmental gene polypeptide results in embryogenesis. The gametes of a maize plant develop into embryoids when transformed with a genetic construct including regulatory elements and structural genes capable of acting in a cascading fashion to alter cellular fate of plant cells. Developmental morphogenic proteins expressed from a genetic construct are used for ex situ treatment methods and for in planta cellular reprogramming.
