Abstract: A distributed low voltage power system is disclosed herein. The system can include a power source generating line voltage power, and a first line voltage cable having a first line voltage end and a second line voltage end, where the first line voltage end is coupled to the power source. The system can also include a first power distribution module (PDM) comprising a first power transfer device and a first output channel. The system can further include a first LV cable having a first LV end and a second LV end, where the first LV end is coupled to the first output channel of the first PDM. The system can also include at least one first LV device operating on the first LV signal, where the second LV end of the first LV cable is coupled to the at least one first LV device.

Abstract: A muffler for an exhaust system of a gas combustion engine, which comprises a muffler body (14) connected to an exhaust pipe inlet (10a), an exhaust pipe outlet (11a) to the tailpipe connected to the muffler body (14), and adjacent baffles (23, 24) within the muffler body (14), characterized in that the exhaust pipe inlet (10a), the exhaust pipe outlet (11a) and the adjacent baffles (23, 24) are in line without significant restriction to gas exhaust flow and having baffle openings (21, 22) and baffle louver openings (18b, 19b) to the central muffler chamber (17), whereby the central muffler chamber route (17) is generally a straight line from the exhaust inlet pipe (10a) to the exhaust pipe outlet (11a).

Abstract: A power distribution module for a distributed low voltage power system can include at least one input channel configured to receive line voltage power from at least one power source. The power distribution module can also include at least one receiving feature electrically coupled to the at least one input channel, where the at least one receiving feature is configured to receive at least one replaceable circuit module. The power distribution module can further include at least one output channel electrically coupled to the at least one receiving feature, where the at least one output channel is configured to send a final low voltage (LV) signal to at least one LV device.

Abstract: A processing resource detects that a subscriber entity subscribes to at least a first content service provider and a second content service provider. The processing resource receives a first message indicating content available to the subscriber entity for selective retrieval from the first content service provider. The processing resource receives a second message indicating content available to the subscriber entity for selective retrieval from the second content service provider. Based on at least the first message and the second message, the processing resource produces a content guide to include at least first content available to the subscriber entity for retrieval from the first service provider and second content available to the subscriber entity for retrieval from the second service provider. Via display of the content guide, a respective subscriber is able to view content available from multiple service providers.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a planar board substrate for receiving a magnetic core. The method includes providing a cover layer having a layer side and providing a base layer having first and second sides. The base layer includes a material hole that extends completely through the base layer between the first and second sides. The method also includes coupling the cover and base layers to each other along the first side and the layer side. The cover layer extends over at least a portion of the material hole. The method also includes providing a dielectric member within the material hole, wherein a core-holding channel exists between the dielectric member and the base layer. The core-holding channel extends circumferentially around the dielectric member and is configured to have a magnetic core therein.

Abstract: A manufactured component, such as headgear or a headgear strap, for a patient interface for delivery of a supply of pressurised air or breathable gas to an entrance of a patient's airways may include a textile portion having a first material with a first melting point. It may also include a plastic portion over-moulded to the textile portion. The plastic portion may be formed of a second material having a second melting point. The melting points may be different such that the second melting point is chosen to be less than the first melting point of the first material. The component may be moulded in a multi-step process that moulds separate portions of the plastic portion and the textile portion at different times. The resulting plastic portion may then have a mechanical bond with the textile and may do so without significant chemical bonding between the plastic portion and the textile.

Abstract: An alloy, comprising up to 2% by weight of manganese and the balance zinc broadens the use of low cost zinc in coinage and token applications as well as in electrical and electronic applications. Additions of small amounts of manganese can have a significant effect on lowering the conductivity of zinc and its alloys.

Abstract: An inflator used for inflation of an object such as life jackets, life boats, etc is revealed. A needle-shaped shaft is driven by a transmission arm to pierce a seal of a gas cylinder on the inflator. Thus compressed gas in the gas cylinder is released and flowing through the inflator to inflate the object. The needle-shaped shaft is arranged with two color areas for representing state of the inflator. The color area is displayed through windows of the inflator to show the state now. The inflator features on simple structure, convenience in use, reduced cost and precise movement.

Abstract: Improvements in compressor manufacture are achieved by utilizing polymeric components which retain at least 90% of their dimensions after being exposed to a mixture of refrigerants and/or lubricants for 30 days at 60° C. Polymeric materials include (i) polyetherimides, (ii) polyphenylene sulfides, (iii) polyketones, (iv) polysulfones, (v) liquid crystal polymers, and (vi) combinations thereof. Metal coatings on the polymers are the preferred embodiments for housings.

Abstract: Methods for managing preparation, delivery, and recycling of a medication for a patient are provided. In one aspect, a method includes interfacing with a medication preparation component, an inventory management component, a delivery management component, and a medication recycling management component. The medication preparation component fulfills a plurality of medication orders based on a first set of parameters. The medication preparation component cannot interface directly with the parameters for the other components. The method includes providing the medication preparation component the first set of parameters based on the parameters for the other components. In another aspect, a method includes receiving a plurality of medication orders, providing preparation instructions when a medication order cannot be fulfilled by unused medications, providing delivery instructions for the medications, and receiving delivery verifications. Machine-readable media are also provided.

The system and method include a routing layer, a plurality of applications in an application layer, wherein the application layer communicates external to the enterprise manager via communicative contact through the routing layer, a business rules layer of a plurality of health care provision business rules, and a core layer.

Abstract: Hardware based prefetching for processor systems is implemented. A prefetch unit can be provided in a cache subsystem that allocates a prefetch tracker in response to a demand request for a cache line that missed. In response to subsequent demand requests to consecutive cachelines, a confidence indicator is increased. In response to further demand misses and a confidence indicator value, a prefetch tier is increased, which allows the prefetch tracker to initiate prefetch requests for more cachelines. Requests for cachelines that are more than two cachelines apart within a match window for the allocated prefetch tracker decreases the confidence faster than requests for consecutive cachelines increase confidence. An age counter tracks when a last demand request within the match window was received. The prefetch tier can be decreased in response to reduced confidence and increased age.

Abstract: In an approach, a database server maintains a container database which comprises: one or more pluggable databases, a root database that stores an undo log for rolling back transactions on the consolidated database, and a redo log for replaying modifications to the container database. The database server restores a particular pluggable with a backup version that corresponds to a first point in time. The database server generates a clone database loaded with a backup version of the root database that corresponds to the first point in time. The database server applies the redo log to recover the particular pluggable database and the clone database to a second point in time that is later than the first point in time. The database server identifies, based on the clone database, one or more active transactions on the particular pluggable database. The database server rolls back the one or more active transactions.

An outer hole is formed on a shell of the handle body near the handle end so as to be in communication with the opening. The insert is configured to be inserted into the opening. The insert includes an aperture and an inner hole. The aperture is configured to accommodate the support member mounted on a door. The inner hole is configured to be aligned with the outer hole and be in communication with the aperture. The insert includes a protrusion that protrudes into the aperture. The fastener is configured to be inserted through the outer hole and the inner hole and press the support member against the protrusion such that the protrusion extends into a neck portion of the support member.

Abstract: Dimming or illumination control of an LED-based lighting fixture can utilize a combination of pulse width modulation and constant current reduction. A light emitting diode driver can implement pulse width modulation to control light over a first light intensity range and constant current reduction over a second light intensity range. The first light intensity range can be less intense than the second light intensity range. Thus, the driver can practice constant current reduction for dimming at higher light intensities and pulse width modulation for dimming at lower light intensities.

Abstract: Communication cable including insulated conductors and a composite tape having an insulative layer and a conductive layer. The composite tape includes first and second lateral sections that are folded over each other to form a shielding tape. The shielding tape includes opposite inner and outer sides that are formed from the first and second lateral sections, respectively, and a folded edge that joins the inner and outer sides. The conductive layer defines the inner side, the outer side, and the folded edge. The shielding tape is wrapped helically about the insulated conductors a plurality of times along a length of the communication cable to form a plurality of wraps. The inner side of a subsequent wrap of the shielding tape overlaps a portion of the outer side of a prior wrap of the shielding tape.
