  • Publication number: 20240311805
Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to processing conversions of digital assets to other digital assets. An example method includes determining a source exchange rate for a source digital asset and a fiat currency, determining a target exchange rate for a target digital asset and a fiat currency, and generating an aggregated conversion rate for the source digital asset and the target digital asset using the source exchange rate and the target exchange rate. The method further includes executing a digital asset conversion, which includes causing source digital asset units to be debited from a source digital asset user account and causing target digital asset units to be credited to a target digital asset user account, and subsequently executing fiat currency transactions (e.g., settlements) with a first digital asset exchange system associated with the source digital asset and a second digital asset exchange system associated with the target digital asset.

  • Patent number: 12083019
Abstract: The present invention comprises an implantable knee prosthesis for the arthritic, aging, ligament-deficient knee having a femoral component, a tibial component and patella component forming three interactive knee compartments mainly the lateral, medial, and femoral patellar compartments articulating together with a variable axial pivot type of knee motion. This novel design accomplishes this motion pattern with four femoral component radii coacting with four reciprocal proximal tibial surface recesses. This occurs in a laterally congruent axial pivot fashion during the first half of knee flexion creating efficient external femoral rotation to align the femoral-patellar groove with the patella/quadriceps muscle complex.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing operation of data processing systems are disclosed. The data processing systems may include a limited number of hardware components. To increase the usable number or types of hardware components, an add-in card or other device may be attached to the data processing system. When connected to the data processing system, these devices may consume power delivered by the data processing system. The devices may cooperate with the host data processing system so that power is consumed in a manner that is less likely to negatively impact operation of the devices and host system.

  • Publication number: 20240252743
Abstract: In various embodiments, a drug pump includes a housing and, within the housing, an expandable drug reservoir at least part of which is exposed to a pressurized propellant. The propellant exerts a substantially constant pressure on the drug reservoir. A flow restrictor significantly limits outflow from the pump, and preferably has both a small diameter and a long path length, which acts to control the outflow from the drug reservoir. As a result, the pump produces a substantially constant outflow.

  • Publication number: 20240249913
Abstract: Atomic layer etching of a substrate using a wafer scale wave of precisely controlled electrons is presented. A volume of gaseous plasma including diluent and reactive species and electrons of a uniform steady state composition is generated in a positive column of a DC plasma proximate the substrate. A corrosion layer is formed on the substrate by adsorption of the reactive species to atoms at the surface of the substrate. The substrate is positively biased to draw electrons from the volume to the surface of the substrate and impart an energy to the electrons so to stimulate electron transitions in the corrosion layer species, resulting in ejection of the corrosion layer species via electron stimulation desorption. The substrate is negatively biased to repel the electrons from the surface of the substrate back to the volume, followed by a zero bias to restore the steady state composition of the volume.
