Abstract: Improved methods and systems for image acquisition of small aquatic organisms at high resolution are disclosed. The methods and systems disclosed herein provide taxonomical classification of the small aquatic organisms through captured images. They also provide a platform that allows easy extension and/or adaptation and/or customization of properties of the instrument for specific imaging and sampling requirements based on the environment where the sampling is done, the amount of water that requires to be sampled, the speed with which sampling needs to be carried out, and the specific nature of organisms that need to be sampled around or below a 50 mm size range.

Abstract: Examples herein describe systems and methods for providing a graphical user interface (“GUI”) dashboard. Data can be retrieved from multiple sources. The data can be processed, and the processed data can be used to generate a GUI in dashboard format. The dashboard can have multiple GUI elements that allow user interaction. The GUI elements, or portions thereof, can be selected, resulting in the remaining GUI elements changing how data is presented or changing the dashboard to a detailed view. The GUI dashboard can be updated in real time.

Abstract: A disclosed expansion socket may include a primary slot and a secondary slot, each mounted to a receiver printed circuit board and electrically coupled to a central processing unit via a computing bus. The primary slot may be dimensioned to receive a primary pinout disposed within a primary portion of an edge connector disposed on a connecting edge of a presenter printed circuit board. Likewise, the secondary slot may be positioned and dimensioned to receive a secondary pinout, disposed within a secondary portion of the edge connector, when the primary slot receives the primary portion of the edge connector. Furthermore, the primary pinout and the secondary pinout may each conform to a compact pinout specification that is more compact than a pinout specification defined for the computing bus. Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for effectively increasing the structural capacity of space frames. In various embodiments, a space frame may be post-tensioned with interior cables that attach to nodes and form unique load transfer paths, thereby redistributing the member stresses and generally creating uniformity amongst stress types. Further, in various embodiments, variable space frame geometry may be employed to match the structural capacity of the space frame with the structural loads on the same, thereby modifying a space frame to comprise one or more empty bays or stretch bays.

Abstract: A child resistant and/or senior friendly dispensing system may include a housing, an insert plate for attaching multiple unitary dose containers and that can slide in and out of the housing and a locking means for locking the insert plate to the housing. The locking means may include a locking clip that can extend or retract to realize locking or releasing of the insert plate. The locking means enables a user to open the insert plate only when squeezing the locking clip inward with sufficient force with one hand and pulling the insert plate with another hand simultaneously. The housing may have one or more locking holes on the side walls and the locking clip may have one or more locking tabs positioned to mate with the locking holes. The system may have a sensor network and a circuitry to monitor the dispensing of unitary dose and output the result.
