  • Patent number: 11404049
Abstract: In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for integrating speech-to-text transcription in a productivity application are presented. A request to access a real-time speech-to-text transcription of an audio signal that is being received by a second device is sent by a first device. The real-time speech-to-text transcription may be surfaced in a transcription pane of a productivity application on the first device. A request to translate the transcription to a different language may be received. The transcription may be translated in real-time and surfaced in the transcription pane. A selection of a word in the surfaced transcription may be received. A request to drag the word from the transcription pane and drop it in a window in the productivity application outside of the transcription pane may be received. The word may be surfaced in the window in the productivity application outside of the transcription pane.

  • Publication number: 20210319159
Abstract: Concepts, systems and methods are described for generating a quantum circuit from a Unitary Coupled Cluster (UCC) ansatz which represents the excitation of a reference state by a parameterised operator including excitation operators. The UCC ansatz includes multi-qubit Pauli operators, referred to as Pauli strings, determined from each excitation operator. The method comprises partitioning the Pauli strings into mutually commuting sets and sequencing the Pauli strings by set. Pauli gadgets are then generated from the Pauli strings by Trotterization, the Pauli gadgets having the same sequencing by set as the Pauli strings. Each set of Pauli gadgets is diagonalised to convert the Pauli gadgets into phase gadgets which are then transformed into one- and two-qubit native gates to generate the quantum circuit.

  • Patent number: 10969851
Abstract: In some examples, an electronic device may determine a target time to which the remaining battery charge is to last, such as based on a user input or historical usage of the electronic device. Additionally, the electronic device may determine a current amount of the battery charge remaining, and may determine user activities likely to occur between the present time and the target time. Based at least partially on the amount of the battery charge remaining and the user activities determined to be likely to occur before the target time, the electronic device may apply one or more power management restrictions to one or more resources of the electronic device.
