Abstract: A crossbar system for a truck bed and methods of mounting a crossbar system to a truck bed are disclosed. In some examples, the crossbar system may include two towers, each coupling an end portion of a crossbar to a truck bed wall. Each tower may include a crossbar housing having a clamp device for securing the crossbar housing around a selected location along the crossbar, and a coupling mechanism configured to secure the crossbar housing to the truck bed. The crossbar housing may have a ledge portion configured to sit on an upper surface of the truck bed wall. The coupling mechanism may include a hook member configured to removably engage the ledge portion of the crossbar housing; and an over-center lever that is operable between open and closed positions, which may cause a bridge piece to move between unclamped and clamped positions. The coupling mechanism may include a plurality of alternate bridge pieces, each configured to engage a different truck bed rail structure.

Abstract: Obtaining two spectra from the same sample under two different conditions at about the same time for comparison, where at least one of the spectra measures magnitudes of electromagnetic radiation on at least four different ranges or weightings of wavelengths or frequencies. Classifying a sample using these spectra obtained by a user, and using spectra obtained from different samples by different users to identify the sample. Computing correlations between data related to food and ingredient consumption by one or more users over time, and data related to passive personal log data, user entered feedback, user interaction data or personal information related to those users, and detecting: foods or ingredients to which a user may be allergic or intolerant; a possible medical condition of a user; a possible link between food and ingredient consumption and a medical or health condition; or a similarity between at least two such users.

Abstract: A cutter tool that includes a shank by which the tool is releasably retainable within a tool holder, an enlarged shoulder or heel provided at one end of the shank and adapted, in use, to abut a seating surface of a tool holder and limit the penetration of the tool holder into a receiving aperture of the tool holder, and an integral blade provided beyond the enlarged shoulder or heel and terminating in a carbide or other tip. The tool is provided with a zone of weakness such that if subjected to fracture forces, a fracture will be encouraged to propagate from the zone of weakness in a particular desired manner.

Abstract: Methods for automating the processing of generation data groups as groups prior to data recovery are described. The generation data groups to be recovered may correspond with a data storage volume that has been taken offline or has suffered a hardware failure. Prior to data recovery, a table of data sets associated with the data to be recovered may be created and then sorted based on the base names, creation dates and generation numbers of the data sets. The sorted table may be used to identify a particular sequence of generation data sets associated with a particular generation data group to be recovered. The generation data sets corresponding with the particular generation data group to be restored may be selected based on a catalog status of the particular generation data group and whether the particular generation data group is in a rolled-off or wrapped state.

Abstract: A set of instructions stored on at least one computer readable medium for running on a computer system. The set of instructions includes instructions for identifying line segments of a roof that is preferably displayed within a geo-referenced image, instructions for determining position, orientation and length of the line segments utilizing the geo-referenced image, and instructions for classifying, automatically, at least one of the line segments as one of a plurality of predefined roof elements utilizing at least one of the relative position and orientation of the line segments.

Abstract: A food dispensing system comprises an outer structure and a force-providing mechanism. The outer structure is adapted to enclose at least a portion of a pouch system that contains a food product, the pouch system having a squeezable element that holds the food product and a spout element for dispensing the food product. The outer structure is further adapted to allow a user to access the spout element of the pouch system, and to prevent the user from squeezing the squeezable element. The force-providing mechanism is adapted to exert a force on the squeezable element.

Abstract: The present application provides a hot gas path component for use in a hot gas path of a gas turbine engine. The hot gas path component may include an internal wall, an external wall facing the hot gas path, an impingement wall, a number of internal wall pedestals positioned between the internal wall and the impingement wall, and a number of external wall pedestals positioned between the external wall and the impingement wall.

The improved pick and pick holder increases the effective life of a tool and pick holder by minimizing the shifting of the pick within the pick holder. The movement of the pick is minimized by front and rear bearing surfaces that remain positively engaged with front and rear bearing surfaces of the pick holder for loads applied to the pick that are predominantly inward and predominantly rearward.

Abstract: A system for dispensing texture material in a desired spray pattern that substantially matches an existing texture pattern on a target surface has a container assembly, an actuator assembly, and a concentrate. The concentrate comprises a solvent/carrier comprising water, wall texture material, a first anti-corrosion material, where the first anti-corrosion material is a phosphate ester and comprises approximately 0.1-5.0% by weight of the concentrate, and a second anti-corrosion material, where the second anti-corrosion material is sodium nitrite and comprises approximately 0.25-2.00% by weight of the concentrate. The concentrate is disposed within the container assembly such that the water is exposed to the inner surface of the container assembly. At least one of the first and second anti-corrosion materials forms a film that inhibits corrosion on tin-plated steel forming at least part of the inner surface of the container assembly.

Abstract: A method of covering an anomaly in a wall substantially to match a pre-existing texture pattern surrounding the anomaly comprises the following steps. A valve is supported on a container assembly to define a main chamber. Contained material comprising wall material concentrate and propellant material is disposed within a main chamber defined by a valve and a container assembly. An actuator relative is arranged relative to the container assembly such that displacement of a button changes the valve from a closed configuration to an open configuration. A first portion of the contained material is applied to the anomaly. A second portion of the contained material is applied to the base coat. The second portion of the contained material forms a desired texture pattern on the base coat that substantially matches the pre-existing texture pattern.

Abstract: A horizon-picking solution for a geological volume of interest is determined. To determine the horizon-picking solution, a plurality of horizons through the geological volume of interest included in an initial horizon-picking solution are perturbed to more closely follow the local character of measured data related to the geological volume of interest. In particular, the horizons may be perturbed simultaneously by blending the initial solution with a secondary horizon-picking solution that automatically identifies a plurality of horizons through the geological volume of interest that follow the measured data related to the geological volume of interest.

Abstract: A method for analysing microbial growth on a solid culture medium, the method including obtaining image data of the solid culture medium and any microbial growth, generating an associated feature vector of values obtained by applying one or more filters to the image data, using a classifier to classify each pixel in a plurality of pixels in the image data based on the associated feature vector, analysing results of pixel classifications of each said pixel to derive a microbiological assessment of the solid culture medium and any microbial growth, and outputting the microbiological assessment.

Abstract: A system for dispensing texture material in a desired spray pattern that substantially matches an existing texture pattern on a target surface comprises an aerosol dispenser, concentrate, and propellant material. The aerosol dispenser has an inner surface comprised at least in part of tin-plated steel. The concentrate comprises a solvent/carrier comprising water, a resin/binder, filler material, a first anti-corrosion material, and a second anti-corrosion material.
