  • Publication number: 20070266662
Abstract: A simulated stone or brick column which is fabricated by a method which involves providing a hollow closed mold which has an inner face in the form of a reverse image of the desired stone or brick surface. Two casting materials are sequentially introduced into the mold and in each case the mold is rotated about two perpendicular axes so that the casting material coats the inner face of the mold and results in the formation of a hollow column having the external appearance of the desired stone or brick surface. The two casting materials form an outer layer which has a texture and contour which simulate a stone or brick surface, and an inner layer which is adheredt to the outer layer and imparts high strength with minimal weight. A standard mailbox and newspaper tube can be integrally molded within the column.

  • Patent number: 7252009
Abstract: A system and method for pressure measurement may include the ability to readily produce a pressure measurement system. In one general aspect, a process for producing a pressure measurement system includes providing an assembly including a stem, a pressure detector, and a first circuit board. The pressure detector is operable to generate a signal based on pressure introduced through the stem, and the circuit board is operable to condition the signal. The process also includes compensating the assembly, determining a signal output type for a pressure measurement system that will include the assembly, and installing a second circuit board that produces the signal output type without materially affecting the compensation.

  • Patent number: 7117452
Abstract: A system, method, and computer readable medium creating a custom frameset within at least one non-based computer application. The system enables a user to customize a view containing a plurality of documents in frames, the documents may include web documents and non-web documents, using predefined framesets. A graphical user interface may be provided that presents a user with various options relating to predefined framesets. The user may select one or more options relating to various attributes of each frame within a predefined frameset including the number, size, and orientation, to customize the layout of the view. The user may then specify one or more attributes to be assigned to each frame. The predefined frameset may then be customized according to the user's selection(s). The options may also include enabling users to divide the view into individual frames.

  • Patent number: 6895799
Abstract: A compact, portable and NIST traceable pressure source dynamically generates very low pressures includes at least one adjustable valves in-line with a fluid, such as air, flowing through the valve. A differential pressure is created across a pressure control device downstream from the valve. The differential pressure varies depending on the volume of the gas flow and the amount of resistance to the gas flow. The pressure generating device utilizes a miniature pump to create a pressure, or, alternatively, a vacuum, that causes gas flow. The pressure generating device is compact and capable of providing a very low and stable differential pressure by using a dynamic flow that compensates for temperature changes and volume changes. The compact module may be configured as a plug-in module for existing handheld calibrators for operator ease of use.
