  • Publication number: 20240066741
Abstract: A cutting device for cutting a pipe having a pipe wall. The cutting device includes an elongate carrier having a tool end which is engageable with a power tool and an opposed free end. The device includes a guide wheel located at the free end of the carrier which is loosely mounted thereon for rotation relative thereto, having a bearing surface extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the carrier. The device also includes a cutting element having a peripheral cutting edge which is located adjacent to the guide wheel being positioned intermediate the guide wheel and the tool end. The cutting element is of greater transverse dimension than the guide wheel so that when the bearing surface bears against an internal surface of the pipe the distance between the cutting edge of the cutting element and the bearing surface enables the cutting element to cut through the pipe wall.

  • Publication number: 20240053219
Abstract: A method and system for detecting and identifying location of leaks in an above-ground storage tank (AST) bottom or wall is provided. The method employs a temporary liner on top of the tank bottom or at the interior of another tank surface capable of holding a vacuum. The temporary liner is installed on the top (interior) side of the surface, sealing the liner to the shell and any potential penetrations such as columns. A temporary spacer may be employed to help ensure the liner itself does not seal well to the bottom. A vacuum is pulled between the liner and the tank surface. After the vacuum is pulled, a portable acoustic device is utilized to target noise generated by air entering the vacuum evident of a gas or liquid leak.

  • Publication number: 20240051372
Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for providing temperature control for to a temperature-controlled storage compartment in a tunnel of a vehicle. The tunnel extends from a first side of the vehicle, such as the passenger side, to a second side of the vehicle, such as the driver side. The vehicle also includes a refrigeration module that is moveable on a shuttle of the tunnel. The refrigeration module includes a temperature-controlled storage unit configured to open and close in accordance with a path defined by an accessibility assembly. The shuttle transfers power from a power source, such as a battery, to the temperature-controlled storage unit, for example, to provide temperature control even when the vehicle is powered off. Accordingly, the refrigeration module provides a space-efficient system for ensuring prolonged temperature control of items stored in the temperature-controlled storage unit.

  • Patent number: 11895147
Abstract: A system for suspending a computing device suspected of being infected by a malicious code is configured to receive a signal to initiate a suspension procedure of the computing device. The system captures states of instructions that are being executed by a processor of the computing device, where the instructions comprise the malicious code. The system prioritizes the operation of a kill switch button over the instructions being executed by the processor. The system sends notification signals to servers managing a user account associated with a user currently logged in at the computing device, indicating that the computing device is suspected of having been infected by the malicious code. In response to sending the notification signals to the servers, the user account is suspended. The system terminates network connections of the computing device such that the computing device is disconnected from other devices.
