  • Publication number: 20240215771
Abstract: A hair wrap article, as disclosed, is a regular or irregular geometric-shaped swath of cloth comprising a cloth area and a cloth edge perimeter; and a securing tab affixed, generally stitched, upon the swath of cloth to receive and secure a portion of the swath of cloth. The securing tab affixes upon the cloth at least a discrete distance, described further herein, from the cloth edge perimeter. The securing tab generally comprises a planar configuration, and may embody any regular or irregular geometric shape. A secondary tab may be further employed and stitched proximate to the securing tab. Representative embodiments may employ slits in the cloth, rather than affixed tabs, to receive and secure a portion of the swath of cloth; and such slits are similarly positioned at least a discrete distance from the cloth edge. Various embodiments may employ a combination of securing tabs, secondary tabs, and slits.

  • Publication number: 20240220418
Abstract: A data processing system includes a master and multiple snoopers communicatively coupled to a system fabric for communicating requests, where the master and snoopers are distributed among a plurality of nodes. The data processing system maintains logical partition (LPAR) information for each of a plurality of LPARs, wherein the LPAR information indicates, for each of the plurality of LPARs, which of the plurality of nodes includes at least one snooper among the plurality of snoopers that holds an address translation entry for that LPAR. Based on the LPAR information, the master selects a broadcast scope of a multicast request on the system fabric, where the broadcast scope includes fewer than all of the plurality of nodes. The master repetitively issues, on the system fabric, the multicast request utilizing the selected broadcast scope until the multicast request is successfully received by all of the plurality of snoopers within the broadcast scope.

  • Patent number: 12028461
Abstract: A request to add tags (e.g., labels, key-value pairs, or metadata) to resources can be digitally signed by the entity making the request, such that the source can be verified and an authorization determination made for each tag. For a request involving multiple services (or entities) that can each add tags, any tag added by a service can be included in the request and digitally signed by that service. Each service processing the request can also digitally sign the request before forwarding, so that each service signs a version of the request, which includes elements signed by other services earlier in the request chain. When the request is received to a tagging service, the service ensures that every tag was digitally signed by the appropriate authorized entity or service, and validates the signatures to ensure that no data was modified or omitted, before adding the tags to the designated resource(s).

  • Patent number: 12026090
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing Telecom Day 0 tasks as concrete examples of the general model-based, event-driven, policy-controlled platform that generates a customized DevOp automation plan from a generic template, which describes a single platform-based workflow for automating related DevOps tasks end-to-end (e.g., across stages and teams) and top-to-bottom (e.g., across all layers—application, infrastructure and network) for an efficient, seamless, transparent and scalable process. The single, platform-based process commences with a submission that is the onboarding of a new or updated code-package or a composition of objects as a service (higher-level object). The single, platform-based process ends with the registration of the application in a catalog or returns the submission to the submitter for re-working. These capabilities automate continuous delivery, enabling agile development with a consistent developer experience.

  • Patent number: 12024131
Abstract: The swing away tailgate barbeque cooking system allows for a cooking apparatus to be mounted on a vehicle or RV. Once at the location, the unit can swing away from the vehicle on a plane up to approximately 180 degrees. The user can then pivot the cooking apparatus into a position that is favorable for cooking. An adjustable leg or legs can be utilized which enable the unit to be much heavier than other swing away units. The adjustable legs make the unit very easy for one person to swing open or swing close. The adjustable legs also allow the unit to be in a level orientation when on uneven ground. The unit can be easily disconnected and rolled away from the carry vehicle. The unit can then be used as a stand-alone grill for home cooking.

  • Patent number: 12028421
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for collecting, storing, and transmitting account information in a matchable form, and for using this information to quickly set up accounts. Account information is maintained and shared between one or more client devices and an intermediate server. Account information can be reconciled locally to determine whether to add or enable an active account or an account proxy to a client device. Account proxies can be quickly enabled by a single user action. The methods and systems allow enabled accounts and account proxies to be removed from a first client device without propagating the deletion to a second client device.

  • Patent number: 12025645
Abstract: A portable electronic device for detecting an electromagnetic pulse generated by a tesla coil, and selectively a pulse from natural lightning. The device has a detection circuit for electromagnetic pulses, operating to detect an observed electromagnetic pulse having a frequency at least within a range of about 50 kilohertz (kHz) to about 300 megahertz (MHz). The detection circuit generate an output signal corresponding to the observed electromagnetic pulse. A microcontroller analyzes the output signal from the detection circuit against a tesla profile that identifies a detected electromagnetic pulse as a tesla coil pulse when the observed electromagnetic pulse has a frequency within the range of about 50 kHz to about 300 MHz with a pulse duration of at least 0.50 seconds. The microcontroller then generates an indication that the detected electromagnetic pulse is that of a tesla coil, and generates a tesla coil alert, typically flashing of an LED.
