  • Patent number: 12023203
Abstract: A force limiting assembly for a surgical instrument that has a handle and a lever pivotally mounted to the handle at a pivot point for movement of an internal drive shaft. The lever is coupled to the drive shaft by a cantilever spring that is positioned within the lever. The free end of the cantilever is spaced apart from the pivot point of the lever and coupled to the drive shaft via stops positioned on the drive shaft on either side of the free end of the cantilever spring. As the lever is pivoting by a user, the forces move the drive shaft and bias the cantilever spring, thereby reducing and ultimately limiting the amount of force that a user may apply to the drive shaft via operation of the lever.

  • Patent number: 12023003
Abstract: Various apparatuses to attach a first medical device to a second medical device are described that allow the physician to grasp only a single device while the other device remains securely attached to the one being grasped. The apparatuses, once they are attached to the first medical device, are designed to be easily and quickly attached and detached to a second medical device, normally only requiring the use of one hand. Furthermore, the apparatuses oftentimes include a base that can easily couple and decouple from the portion that is attached to the second medical device so that if the need arises to separately use the second medical device, it can be decoupled from the first medical device without completely removing the apparatus from the second medical device.

  • Patent number: 12026494
Abstract: Systems and methods analyze for installing dependencies required for the installation of prerequisite components of cloud infrastructure to be installed in a disconnected environment are presented herein. An automation playbook generated after an assessment of a disconnected environment may be analyzed to determine a set of dependencies required by the automation playbook (e.g., packages and files required by each installation playbook called by the automation playbook). Each of the dependencies may be brought into the disconnected environment and installed as operating system packaging units, or deployed as containerized services. After all of the dependencies have been installed, a processing device may generate an installation report indicating whether the installation of each prerequisite component was successful or not. Upon determining that each of the prerequisite components was successfully installed, the processing device may install the cloud infrastructure on the disconnected environment.
