The pool cleaner is placed on two elongate rollers which allow the pool cleaner to move in opposite directions. The suction mouth is positioned between the two elongate rollers to reduce angular displacement when a roller wheel mounts a protrusion on uneven pool bed. A scrubber extends from within the mouth to sweep across the pool bed. The scrubber is pivoted to be able to swing when the pool cleaner changes direction.

A body chamber is coupled to the intake nozzle and has an intake end and a discharge end. A pump is housed within the body chamber drawing fluid from the intake end and expelling the fluid through the discharge end. A filter is placed within the body chamber filtering out particulates from the fluid drawn into the body chamber. A battery pack is located remote from the pool cleaner and wearable by a user of the pool cleaner. A power cord couples the battery pack to the pump. The power cord being electrically connected to the pump by a waterproof connector.

A first rolling mechanism is coupled to a bottom section of the housing. A second rolling mechanism is coupled to the bottom section of the housing. A third rolling mechanism is coupled to the bottom section of the housing between the first rolling mechanism and the second rolling mechanism. The third rolling mechanism extends lower from the housing than the first rolling mechanism and the second rolling mechanism allowing the automated swimming pool cleaner to pivot about the third rolling mechanism. The drive mechanism rotates at least one of the first rolling mechanism, the second rolling mechanism, or the third rolling mechanism.

The cleaning structure attaches to the chassis and acts as a cap covering the drive wheels and track. The cleaning structure includes a base and bristles extending outwardly therefrom. The bristles define fingers. In one embodiment, the fingers are of a uniform length. In another embodiment, the fingers are of a graduated length. Others embodiments include the fingers being distributed on the base in a random pattern.

A plurality of illuminating elements of the lighting circuit is attached to an outer perimeter of the sub-housing. A cover is positioned over the sub-housing forming a watertight seal.
