A housing shaft is fitted over the outer circumference of the rotating shaft, seated on the rotor case, and coupled at its outer circumference to the polygon mirror. A hole is formed in the housing shaft, absorbs stress occurring during welding, and reduces variation in levelness of the polygon mirror. A coupling part couples the edge of the hole with the polygon mirror.
