  • Publication number: 20140143196
Abstract: The concepts relate to task completion and specifically to aiding a user to complete an unfinished task at a subsequent time and/or on another device. One example can identify that a user is working on a task on a computing device associated with the user. In an instance when the user stops using the computing device without completing the task, the example can predict a likelihood that the user will subsequently resume the task on a second computing device associated with the user. In an instance where the likelihood exceeds a threshold, the example can attempt to aid the user in completing the task on the second computing device.

  • Patent number: 7980869
Abstract: A safety socket for receiving terminals of a plug includes a socket housing where at least two electrodes are mounted, a socket cover coupled with the socket housing and defining at least two inserting apertures corresponding to the electrodes, and an insulating baffle rotatably located above the electrodes by a torsional spring and having at least two gaps opened at intervals along a circle of which a center is at the rotation axis of the insulating baffle, and at least two driven slopes arranged alternately with the gaps along the circle. The driven slopes movably block between the inserting apertures and the corresponding electrodes. The terminals pass through the inserting apertures and act on the driven slopes to drive the insulating baffle to rotate so as to make the gaps exposed in alignment with the corresponding electrodes. Then the terminals pass through the gaps to be inserted in the electrodes.

  • Patent number: 7920388
Abstract: A fastening structure for an expansion card has a pair of blocks disposed in a case. Each block has a slit, and each slit is facing and parallel to the slit on the other block. When fastening the expansion card, two opposite sides of the expansion card may be engaged into the opening of the pair of slits. At least a locking tab having a dent is disposed on one block and may rotate around the block. When the locking tab rotates, the dent and the slit may be selectively aligned or misaligned. When the dent and the slit are aligned, they may form a continuous passage for a side of the expansion card slitting into. Or when they are misaligned, the sidewall of the dent may block up the slit.

  • Publication number: 20100304620
Abstract: A power plug connector for connecting with a wire includes a shell with a receiving cavity being opened through a rear end thereof, a pin assembly fastened in a front of the shell and stretching forward beyond the shell, and a rotating body including a pivoting portion rotatably pivoted in the receiving cavity of the shell. The rotating body defines a perforation penetrating through the pivoting portion. One end of the wire is passed through the perforation of the rotating body and then electrically connected with the pin assembly. The rotating body can rotate in the receiving cavity of the shell so that can avoid the wire twisting and fracturing in use and is further easy to arrange the wire in order. Therefore, it prolongs the use life of the power plug connector.

  • Patent number: 7828046
Abstract: Hybrid wicking materials are used in high performance heat pipes where a bi-modal distribution of pore sizes offers advantages over a homogeneous monolithic porous structure. This wick is comprised of sintered metal powder formed on a foam, felt, screen or mesh metal substrate. A fine pore structure is formed by the metal powder while the substrate is comprised of large pores. The large pores are several times, preferably five times to several orders of magnitude larger in size than the small pores. The sintered powder metal and the metal substrate may be made of nickel, copper, molybdenum, niobium, aluminum, iron, cobalt, titanium and alloys based on these metals. This provides a wicking material with axial and radial variations in pore size for optimized performance under both horizontal and against gravity orientations.
