    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a flexible printed circuit board comprising: providing a first flexible precursor board having a layer; adhering a first covering layer with a lower opening, a portion of the circuit layer exposed; adhering a second covering layer with an upper opening to the first covering layer, the upper opening being formed in the lower opening, and a portion of circuit layer being exposed to obtain a second flexible precursor board; providing an upper mound having a protruding portion and a lower mound having a recessed portion, moving the second flexible precursor board between the upper mound and the lower mound, the upper opening being positioned away from the protruding portion and the recessed portion, pressing the upper mound to the lower mound to press the protruding portion into the recessed portion; removing the upper mound and the lower mound to get the flexible printed circuit board.

    Abstract: A system level search user interface that includes both a data entry portion and a search identification portion is displayed. Data input by a user as a search term is displayed in the data entry portion, and identifiers of each of one or more scopes on the computing device that can be searched using the search term are displayed in the search identification portion. Search results based on a selected scope are displayed in a search results portion of the system level search user interface. A set of keyboard shortcuts allow users to quickly search using any of the scopes, and see previews of a number of results that each of the scopes return. Additionally, the system level search user interface allow users to easily focus on different search result entries, and efficiently change scopes for searching.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed generally to tools that are high quality, strong, and lightweight. For example, various tools such as clamps may be made using parts containing a compound or alloy including magnesium. Magnesium may be for cast or extruded parts. In one embodiment, an “F” style clamp may be made with one or both of the two cooperating jaw members or sections being cast from a magnesium compound or alloy. In one variation, the “F” style clamp may include a shaft made from extruded magnesium. In another embodiment, a “C” style clamp may be made with the “C” shaped frame being cast from a magnesium compound or alloy. In a further embodiment, a bar clamp having trigger indexing may me made with one or both of two jaw members or sections being cast from a magnesium compound or alloy. In a variation, the bar may be an extruded magnesium.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing rigid-flexible circuit board includes the step of providing an adhesive sheet defining at least one first opening, a copper foil, and a flexible board. The flexible board comprises a mounting region and a folding region. A removable sheet is pressed on a pressed surface of the adhesive sheet corresponding to each first opening. The copper foil, the adhesive sheet with the removable sheet, and the flexible board are pressed together in that sequence. The removable sheet corresponds to the folding region, and is embedded in the adhesive sheet. The copper foil contacts with the pressed surface and the removable sheet. An interspace is formed between the removable sheet and the flexible board. An outer conductive layer is formed on the copper foil. A removing region of the outer conductive layer corresponding to the folding region and the removable sheet is removed.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for preparing three dimensional (3D) nanofibers (blended or coaxial) materials by electrospinning. An automatic nanofiber collector device is used to control the porosity, pore size, crystallinity, geometry, the layer number and thickness of formed nanofibers. The automatic nanofiber collector device includes: (1) a collector platform; (2) a non-conductive device used to fix the collector device; (3) a plurality of electro-conductive wires or needles being pierced through the collector platform with various heights, and (4) the ends of the needles (at bottom) are wired and controlled by a microcontroller, providing forward, stand and backward movements for attached needles. The desired 3D nanofiber scaffold structures can be tailored by the micro-stepping programmable motor controller by changing the pattern and velocity of needle movement, generalized or selective needles movements, as well as intermittent versus continuous movement.

After correct entry point is obtained, the guide wire is advanced and the fingerstall-cannulated guide can be easily detached. The device and method can accomplish the following: (1) reduction of the surgery time; (2) reduction of the radiation exposure times, and (3) reduction of the soft tissue damage during surgery. When the acquired current voltage is equal to the reference voltage, the extraction module executes an operation corresponding to the reference voltage.

However, the technologies of vertical LED fabrication reported so far involve the wafer-level metal substrate substitution which may cause large stress due to the mismatch between metal substrate and LED layer. Moreover, the metal substrate has to be diced to separate LED dies which may cause metal contamination and thus increase the leakage current. These factors will lower the yield of LED production and increase the cost as well. The present invention is to disclose a novel method for the fabrication of GaN vertical high power LEDs and/or a novel method for the fabrication of GaN vertical high power LEDs which is compatible to mass production conditions. The novelty of the invention is that the island metal plating is conducted with the help of pattern formation techniques.
