    Abstract: An electrical connector comprises an insulative housing having a base portion with a rear room depressed thereof, a top and a lower tongue portions extending forwardly, a plurality of contacts retained to the insulative housing, a spacer received in the rear room, and a metal shell having two side walls covering two sides of the insulative housing. The spacer has a base, a front portion and a rear portion extending upwardly from the base, and a groove depressed between the front and the rear portion. A metal plate received in the groove. The metal plate has a pair of cantilever arms extending downwardly from two side edges of the main portion. The pair cantilever arms are mirror and coplanar to each other, each of the cantilever arm having a protruding portion protruding beyond a side of the insulative housing to abut against the side wall of the metal shell.

The detection module detects the current voltage of the battery at regular intervals and stores the information in the storage. The acquiring module acquires a previous detected voltage from the storage. The check module checks whether the current voltage is a fluctuated voltage. The display displays the label with the numbers of the lighted columns corresponding to the power level which contains the previous detected voltage when the current voltage is a fluctuated voltage.

    Abstract: Vertical high power LEDs are the technological choice for the application of general lighting due to their advantages of high efficiency and capability of handling high power. However, the technologies of vertical LED fabrication reported so far involve the wafer-level metal substrate substitution which may cause large stress due to the mismatch between metal substrate and LED layer. Moreover, the metal substrate has to be diced to separate LED dies which may cause metal contamination and thus increase the leakage current. These factors will lower the yield of LED production and increase the cost as well. The present invention is to disclose a novel method for the fabrication of GaN vertical high power LEDs and/or a novel method for the fabrication of GaN vertical high power LEDs which is compatible to mass production conditions. The novelty of the invention is that the island metal plating is conducted with the help of pattern formation techniques.

    Abstract: A new jacket installation method is disclosed, especially for shallow water heavy jacket installation applications. The method utilizes a special type of air bags, called launching air bags, to provide low cost net buoyancy in order to make a shallow water jacket self afloat with a sufficient bottom clearance with seabed. At a floating state a minimum size installation crane vessel could be used to perform all needed jacket installation operations such as lowering, setting-down to seabed, driving foundation piles, grouting and the welding between foundation piles and jacket leg tops. For a shallow water heavy jacket installation, a crane vessel cost usually represents a majority cost of a jacket installation. Therefore, a significant savings could be achieved if a minimum size crane vessel could be used, instead of a large size crane vessel.
