Abstract: A thermal management system includes a refrigerant loop, a motor coolant loop, and a battery coolant loop. The refrigerant loop includes a first refrigerant main-line, a second refrigerant main-line, a first refrigerant branch, and a second refrigerant branch. The first refrigerant main-line includes a compressor, the second refrigerant main-line includes a cabin condenser, the first refrigerant branch includes a cabin evaporator, the second refrigerant branch includes a radiator. The first refrigerant main-line and the second refrigerant main-line selectively communicate with one of the first and second refrigerant branches. The battery coolant loop includes a coolant main-line, a first coolant branch connected to the cabin evaporator, a second coolant branch connected to the cabin condenser, and a third coolant branch. The coolant main-line selectively communicates with at least one of the first to third coolant branches. The battery coolant loop connects to the motor coolant loop in series or in parallel.

Abstract: A method for disinfecting explants of Kadsura coccinea stems with buds and a method for directly inducing rapid proliferation of sterile buds by using the explants of Kadsura coccinea stems with buds involve processes such as selection, treatment and disinfection of explants, primary culture, subculture proliferation culture. The problem of difficulty in tissue culture and primary culture of Kadsura coccinea stems is solved, and the advantages include low contamination rate of explants, high propagation rate and robust proliferation of axillary buds. This allows obtaining sterile axillary buds of Kadsura coccinea through tissue culture, and provides support for tissue culture, rapid propagation and factory seedling of Kadsura coccinea in the future.

Abstract: A warp-inserted warp chain knitted chain structure for knitted net is disclosed, which is formed by two parts, i.e., a warp-knitted chain and an insertion warp plainly and straightly inserted into the warp-knitted chain. The warp-knitted chain is formed by serially connecting loop links formed through warp knitting of looping fibers. The denier of the warp-knitted chain is 3 times the denier A of the looping fibers. The ratio of the denier A of the looping fibers to the denier C of the insertion warp is less than or equal to 2.33. In a baling net using the same, under the same knitted chain denier, the insertion warp and the warp-knitted chain are used to jointly bear the warp load, such that the insertion warp does not bend, and the strength of the knitted chain is improved, thus improving the overall strength of the baling net.

Abstract: A multi-fiber push-on/pull-off (MPO) connector and an MPO connector tool configured to facilitate insertion and removal into and from an MPO adapter. The MPO connector includes a ferrule, an inner housing holding the ferrule, an outer housing slidably coupled to the inner housing, and a clip coupled to one end of the outer housing and including a main body, a pair of longitudinally extending latch arms for engaging the outer housing, and a pair of laterally extending posts extending from the main body. In use, the MPO connector tool is positionable to apply a force on the laterally extending posts to translate the clip thereby translating the outer housing longitudinally to facilitate connector insertion and removal.

The method selects an instance of supplemental content based on a long-term reward metric and a short-term reward metric. The long-term reward metric is based on feedback from delivery of a plurality of instances of supplemental content and a delivery status for a delivery constraint of one instance of supplemental content. The short-term reward metric is based on feedback from delivery of the one instance of supplemental content. The long-term reward metric is based on feedback from delivery of a plurality of instances of supplemental content and the short-term reward metric is based on feedback from delivery of one instance of supplemental content. The instance of supplemental content is provided to a client device.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to training and utilizing an image exposure transformation network to generate a long-exposure image from a single short-exposure image (e.g., still image). In various embodiments, the image exposure transformation network is trained using adversarial learning, long-exposure ground truth images, and a multi-term loss function. In some embodiments, the image exposure transformation network includes an optical flow prediction network and/or an appearance guided attention network. Trained embodiments of the image exposure transformation network generate realistic long-exposure images from single short-exposure images without additional information.

Abstract: An SNP molecular marker for weight gain trait selection and genetic sex identification of Ictalurus punctatus as well as a screening method and application of the SNP molecular marker are provided. At least one of 17 SNP molecular markers for weight gain trait selection of Ictalurus punctatus and a molecular control means for genetic sex and weight gain trait selection and control of Ictalurus punctatus are further provided. Efficient and scientific identification of Ictalurus punctatus is achieved by means of simple PCR reactions and nucleic acid test strips, and the accuracy rate reaches 100%. A traditional agarose gel electrophoresis method is not used in the whole identification process, the cumbersome steps of gel preparation and running electrophoresis are omitted, nucleic acid dyes are not used, and the experimental process is safe and environmentally friendly.

A first subset of the captured radiographic images are identified as having a common first capture time relative to a phase of the periodic motion. A first 3D image is reconstructed using the first subset of captured radiographic images. Additional subsets of the radiographic images are processed similarly based on their common capture time relative to the phase of the periodic motion.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a detection method for determining chloride ions content in sea sand, which is performed in the steps as follows: drying sea sand to a constant weight, adding the dried sea sand to boiling deionized water, and fully stirring, standing and filtering the deionized water to obtain washed sea sand and a washed filtrate; then grinding the washed sea sand into powder, adding the powder into deionized water, fully stirring and filtering the deionized water to obtain a powder filtrate; next, taking half of the washed filtrate and half of the powder filtrate, mixing and stirring the two to prepare a mixed filtrate; and measuring the chloride ions content in each of the washed filtrate, the powder filtrate and the mixed filtrate by using a silver nitrate titration method; finally, analyzing and correcting detection results to obtain the chloride ions content in the sea sand.

Abstract: A portable apparatus for analyzing a plant specimen. A housing assembly defines a sensing volume and controls entry of ambient light into the sensing volume when the housing is closed. A specimen support positions a plant specimen within the sensing volume whereby light emitted from at least one light emitter is incident upon the plant specimen. An image sensor senses light from the at least one light emitter that has been incident on the plant specimen. A processor analyzes data obtained from the light sensor to assess one or more properties of the plant specimen. There may be more than one light emitter, e.g., a halogen lamp and LED array, and the apparatus may acquire images under more than one lighting condition. The apparatus may include a mechanism for moving the plant specimen relative to the optical path to take images at multiple regions of interest on the specimen.

Abstract: Methods of fabricating single photon emitters (SPEs) including nanoindentation of hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) host materials and annealing thereof, devices formed from such methods, and chips with a single photon emitter. A substrate with a layer of hBN is provided. Nanoindentation is performed on the layer of hBN to produce an array of sub-micron indentations in the layer of hBN. The layer of hBN is annealed to activate SPEs near the indentations. Devices include a substrate with an SPE produced in accordance with the methods. Chips include a substrate, an hBN layer, and an SPE including an indentation on the hBN layer, in which the substrate is not damaged at the indentation.
