    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the present disclosure provide a user equipment (UE) with a capability to identify an enhanced sidelink resource pool including resources that are otherwise excluded from configured sidelink resource pools. In some examples, the UE may identify the enhanced sidelink resource pool based on sidelink parameters for transmitting one or more sidelink messages, and the UE may use the enhanced sidelink resource pool for additional sidelink transmissions. The additional sidelink transmissions may include standalone sidelink control information (SCI) transmissions or other types of transmissions associated with sidelink communications. The resources associated with the enhanced sidelink resource pool may have a relatively finer granularity than those included within a base sidelink resource pool that is, for example, configured by a network.

The example method also includes generating a first reference signal copy based at least on the second reference signal and a phase jump between the first slot and the second slot. In some systems, a first user equipment (UE) may monitor and perform blind decoding for a sidelink transmission, such as a first part of sidelink control information (SCI), from a second UE over a configured search space. The first UE may receive signaling indicating an update to the search space via lower layer signaling, such as via a second part of SCI or a sidelink data channel, and may monitor for the sidelink transmission over the updated search space. The update to the search space may indicate a blocking of one or more monitoring occasions from the configured search space, an addition of one or more monitoring occasions to the configured search space, a reactivation of one or more previously blocked monitoring occasions, or a switching from a first search space to a second search space.

SL SRS-Ps are communicated (e.g., transmitted and measured) between the pool of UEs (e.g., for relative SL ranging). UL SRS-Ps are communicated by at least some of the UEs in the pool of UEs. The position estimation entity obtains measurement data for both the SL SRS-P and UL-SRS-P communications. The position estimation entity determines a position estimate for each UE in the set of UEs based on the measurement information.

In some wireless communications networks, a first wireless device may transmit sidelink control information to a second wireless device, which includes a first scheduling for an uplink transmission by a second wireless device during a first slot. The second wireless device may decode the sidelink control information to determine an operating mode of the first wireless device during the first slot, such as a transmitting mode or a receiving mode. Based on the operating mode, the second wireless device may drop or delay the uplink transmission. In some cases, the first wireless device may schedule an uplink transmission to be performed by the second wireless device during a second slot, and the first wireless device may switch from a transmitting mode to a receiving mode in order to receive the scheduled uplink transmission from the second wireless device.

    Abstract: Positioning of one or more user equipments (UEs) is performed using broadcast common sounding reference signals (SRS) resources for positioning. The common SRS that is broadcast by a UE is received and measured by one or more base stations and one or more other UEs. The other UEs may have known positions and may server as anchor nodes for positioning. The other UEs may have known positions and may serve as a positioning (anchor) node or may have unknown positions and may be jointly positioned with the target UE. During joint positioning, each of the other UEs may similarly broadcast a common set of SRS that is received and measured by the base stations and other UEs for positioning. An angular measurement of the SRS broadcast by one or more UEs may be measured and used to resolve mirror symmetry in positioning solutions.

A transmitting UE determines sidelink resources for bundling a sidelink DMRS transmission to be transmitted to a receiving UE. In sidelink mode 1, the sidelink resources may be determined based on indications from a base station, which may include whether the transmitting UE is to maintain phase continuity over the sidelink resources during the bundling, or whether the transmitting UE is to include a phase jump reference signal with the bundled DMRS transmission to the receiving UE. In sidelink mode 2, the transmitting UE may select the sidelink resources based on the phase continuity capabilities of the transmitting UE and/or of the receiving UE, and/or based on a sensing of the sidelink channel.     Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring a search space for sidelink communications between a plurality of user equipments (UEs). Particularly, the techniques described herein configure a search space (e.g., subset of all available sub-channels) to decode the sidelink packets (e.g., physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) and physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH)) transmitted between a first UE and a second UE over sidelink communication without the need for the receiver UE (e.g., second UE) to perform blind decoding of all sidelink sub-channels as is currently required in conventional systems. Thus, the disclosed techniques reduce latency and maximize the resource utilization (e.g., by using less processing power and bandwidth) for sidelink communications.
