Abstract: The present invention provides a power adjustment method, a network management system, a CMTS, and a CM. The power adjustment method includes: obtaining, by a network management system, a first SNRCM between two CMs connected to a CMTS, where the first SNRCM represents a signal ratio of a signal sent by the CMTS to a first CM and received by the first CM to a signal sent by a second CM to the CMTS and received by the first CM; and sending, by the network management system, indication information to the CMTS based on the first SNRCM, and a first relationship between an SNRCM and a transmit power at which the CMTS sends a signal to the CM.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for processing objects. For example, a call request message is received, the call request message carrying an identification (ID) of order data associated with one or more objects, the order data including at least a total value of the objects and an ID of a second subject; a first account related to a first subject and a user password related to the first subject are acquired; the first account and the user password and the ID of the order data are sent; the first account and the user password and the ID of the order data are forwarded; and based on at least information associated with the first account and the user password and the ID of the order data, the total value is deducted from a first value included in the first account related to the first subject.

Abstract: A cable modem (CM), a hybrid fiber coaxial (HFC) network fault locating system, and a fault detection method are provided. The CM can not only detect intrusion noise outside a carrier and white noise, but also detect other fault problems, such as non-linear distortion, pulse noise, intrusion noise on a carrier, and linear distortion. The system includes a direction-selective apparatus. The apparatus can allow only an upstream signal entered from an output port of the apparatus to be transmitted to a CM to which a branch port of the apparatus is connected, without allowing an upstream signal entered from an input port of the apparatus to be transmitted to the CM to which the branch port of the apparatus is connected, so that once detecting a fault from the upstream signal, the CM can accurately determine, through locating, that the fault in an HFC network is located on an output port side of the apparatus.

Abstract: Method and server system for user login verification are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a verification request from a first device for an account operation requested by a user using a first account; identifying, from the server system, usage history data associated with the first account, including data regarding usage of the first account on the first device; determining, in accordance with the data regarding the usage of the first account on the first device and one or more predetermined usage history criteria, whether the account operation associated with the first account on the first device is safe; and in accordance with a determination that the account operation associated with the first account on the first device is not safe, initiating a verification process based on a second device that qualifies as being safe for the account operation.

Abstract: The present disclosures describes a communication method, a CMTS, and a CM. The communication method includes: sending, by a CMTS, a reference signal within a first time period by using a valid subcarrier in a first spectrum, where the first time period is a time period within which none of CMs connected to the CMTS sends a signal in the first spectrum; performing, by the CMTS based on an interfering signal received by the CMTS within the first time period, channel interference estimation on a channel that is used during signal reception of the CMTS and that occupies the first spectrum, where the interfering signal is a signal obtained after the reference signal passes through the channel; and canceling, by the CMTS based on a result of the channel interference estimation, interference from a first signal received by the CMTS to a second signal received by the CMTS.

Abstract: A failure analysis method and device, where the method includes obtaining a frequency domain response amplitude of a channel from a hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) network, performing linear fitting on an effective portion of the frequency domain response amplitude to determine a channel slope value, and performing channel failure analysis according to the channel slope value. Failure analysis is performed according to the obtained channel slope value, and the channel slope value is a new failure analysis parameter. In this way, means of channel failure analysis increase, and channel failure analysis is more accurate.

The new member may be added through a barcode-scanning process or an existing-member-invitation process. After the new member is added to the chat group, a server may send notification messages to mobile devices associated with the existing members of the group. The contents of the notification messages may vary based on the processes by which the new member is added, the number of existing members, and the direct-contact relationships the new member has with the existing members. The current invention provides simplified methods and devices for adding the new member, avoiding cumbersome operations and protecting member privacy at the same time.

Abstract: A secondary battery and its preparation method, the secondary battery having a negative electrode containing a negative current collector; and no negative active material; an electrolyte having an electrolyte salt and an organic solvent a separator; a positive electrode having a positive active material layer containing a positive active material, wherein the positive active material comprises a material having a layered crystal structure; and a battery case used for packaging. Main active component of the secondary battery is the positive active material having a layered crystal structure, which is environmentally-friendly and low in cost; meanwhile, negative active material is not needed by he second battery system, thereby remarkably reducing the weight and cost of the battery and improving the battery energy density. The reaction mechanism adopted by the secondary battery significantly increases the working voltage of the battery and further improves the energy density of the battery.

Abstract: A channel transmission characteristic obtaining method and apparatus, where the method includes obtaining transmission characteristic curves of at least two channels in a cable modem in a channel scanning manner, where the at least two channels form one contiguous frequency band, and frequencies corresponding to the transmission characteristic curves of the at least two channels include frequency values on a same order of magnitude, and amplitude values on a same order of magnitude, translating the transmission characteristic curves of the channels in an amplitude direction, to make amplitudes corresponding to same frequencies on all transmission characteristic curves overlapped in order to form one continuous curve, and setting the continuous curve as a transmission characteristic curve of the contiguous frequency band.

Abstract: The present application discloses methods, devices and systems for networking communication and information display. Based on a predefined layout provided by a server, service providers may customize the predefined layout by designating/designing actionable options that may be used in the layout to generate user interfaces. Due to the dual sources of the customized interfaces, some of the actionable options in different interfaces are the same and some of the actionable options are different. A user may select an actionable option displayed at a mobile terminal, which may cause the mobile terminal to send a request to the server, receive a response from the server, and display the response. The current invention allows service providers to configure predefined layouts and present the customized interfaces to users, improving communication experiences while maintaining a level of similarity between the interfaces from different service providers.

Abstract: A message sending method includes: displaying chat messages on a chat interface, which is one of a group chat interface and a single chat interface; when detecting a reply operation performed by a user on a first chat message in the chat messages, obtaining content of the first chat message and content of a reply message corresponding to the reply operation; combining the content of the first chat message and the content of the reply message into a second chat message; when the first chat message is on the group chat interface, sending the second chat message to a client corresponding to each chat account that participates in a group chat; and when the first chat message is on the single chat interface, sending the second chat message to a client corresponding to a chat account that posted the first chat message.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a hybrid fiber coaxial (HFC) network fault locating method and apparatus. The method includes: obtaining a fault group in an HFC network; collecting a pre-equalization coefficient of at least one cable modem (CM); enabling a reference fault point that is corresponding to the fault group and whose location is known; collecting the pre-equalization coefficient of the at least one CM again; and determining a relative distance between each fault point in the fault group and the reference fault point according to the pre-equalization coefficient collected twice. In the present disclosure, not only each fault point in a fault group including a plurality of fault points can be located, but also a fault group including only a single fault point can be located.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a multi-stage echo cancelation scheme. The disclosed embodiments include an apparatus and method for monitoring and canceling echoes greater than 25 dB in a coaxial cable plant. The method includes obtaining echo channel estimate coefficients from a cable node. The method determines a location and strength of each partial echo in an impulse response using the echo channel estimate coefficients. Optionally, the method determines a frequency response of each partial echo in the impulse response.

The method includes receiving, in a social media messaging program, a search request including one or more search terms from a user of a client device. Abstract: The present invention discloses a parameter obtaining method and apparatus. In this method, multiple signals are received over a communications link on a network, where each of the received signals is corresponding to a point on a complex plane; decision is performed on each of the received signals; for each of the received signals, an error signal between the received signal and a corresponding decision signal is determined; and a complex-plane distribution feature parameter used to indicate a distribution feature, on the complex plane, of the signals received over the communications link is determined according to all the determined error signals. In this method, an inaccurate maintenance result in manual analysis of a constellation diagram is avoided.

Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for canceling interference, to resolve a problem that performance of interference cancellation is poor because accuracy of equalizer coefficients obtained by a CMTS through calculation is not sufficiently high. A specific solution is as follows: (101) A CMTS calculates L equalizer coefficients of an L-tap filter according to a preamble sequence by using an adaptive algorithm, and performs adaptive equalization on a received signal by using the L equalizer coefficients, where L is a positive integer greater than 24; and (102) the CMTS selects K equalizer coefficients from the L equalizer coefficients, and sends a ranging response message carrying the K equalizer coefficients to a cable modem CM, so that the CM performs pre-equalization on a to-be-sent signal according to the received K equalizer coefficients, where K is a positive integer less than or equal to L.
