Abstract: A method and an apparatus for processing random access are provided. The method includes that: once a random access request sent by a user equipment (UE) is received, a base station generates random access response information, where the random access response information carries indication information, and the indication information is used to indicate a preamble sending position corresponding to a scheduling random access radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) of a random access response message. Furthermore, the base station sends the random access response information to the UE.

Abstract: A system information (SI) request adjustment method includes: if a first system information block (SIB1) indicates that SI to be acquired by UE is not being broadcast, sending an SI request to a base station via a first message (MSG1) or a third message (MSG3); and if a present SI request process is not completed yet, and SI required to be requested within a next SI modification period that is entered changes relative to the SI requested in the present SI request process, sending a new SI request to the base station through a new MSG1 or a new MSG3.

Abstract: An information transmission method can be applied to a user equipment, and include: when a beam failure recovery procedure is initiated for a first cell, initiating random access to a base station through a second cell, wherein the second cell is the first cell or another cell other than the first cell; and if the number of times random access is initiated without being able to complete the random access reaches a preset number, transmitting to the base station indication information for a problem existing in a cell group where the second cell is located, wherein the indication information is used to indicate that the cause for the problem existing in the cell group is the failure of random access caused by the initiation of the beam failure recovery procedure.

Abstract: A method for data transmission includes: receiving a first indication message from a base station, wherein the first indication message includes first information indicating a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) packet duplication function and at least two transmission entities configured for a radio bearer (RB) by the base station; setting a transmission function corresponding to the RB to be the PDCP packet duplication function according to the first indication message; setting a transmission entity corresponding to the RB according to the at least two transmission entities indicated in the first indication message; setting a present state of the PDCP packet duplication function, the present state being one of an activated state or a deactivated state; and performing data transmission according to the present state and the transmission entity.

Abstract: A method for configuring random access, comprising: initiating, by a user equipment, a random access to a base station; receiving an association relationship between a random access adjustment parameter and a type of the random access from the base station, wherein the type of the random access is associated with a tolerant latency of the random access; determining whether a random access response transmitted by the base station with respect to the random access is received within a predetermined duration upon initiation of the random access; determining the type of the random access upon it is determined that the random access response is not received; determining a random access adjustment parameter corresponding to the random access according to the association relationship; and re-initiating the random access to the base station according to the random access adjustment parameter.

Abstract: A reference signal transmission method and apparatus are provided. The method includes that a user equipment (UE) monitors dynamic scheduling information sent by a base station, where the dynamic scheduling information includes scheduling information of a reference symbol. Further, the UE determines, according to the dynamic scheduling information, the scheduling information of the reference symbol and receives, according to the scheduling information of the reference symbol, the reference symbol.

Abstract: A system message transmission method includes: broadcasting a minimum system message, wherein the minimum system information includes first indication information, and the first indication information is configured to indicate a modification period of at least one of second indication information or third indication information. The second indication information is configured to indicate whether target other system information transmitted in an on-demand manner among other system information is in a to-be-transmitted state, and the third indication information is configured to indicate a transmission manner of the target other system information.

Abstract: A data transmission method is provided. The method include, when the new data needs to be transmitted, starting from a first available transmission opportunity from among available transmission opportunities, attempting, in each available transmission opportunity of the available transmission opportunities, to acquire a protocol data unit generated by a media access control layer according to the new data; and when the protocol data unit is acquired, instructing, according to the number of times, a cycle period and a start time, an HARQ process to transmit the protocol data unit to the base station in each retransmission opportunity starting from the available transmission opportunity corresponding to the acquisition of the protocol data unit.

Abstract: A method for sending buffer state includes: determining a logical channel of a user equipment (UE) for transmitting service data; acquiring a buffer state report trigger mode corresponding to the logical channel based on a trigger mode relationship table, the trigger mode relationship table comprising logical channels in the UE and buffer state report trigger modes corresponding to the logical channels; and sending the buffer state corresponding to the logical channel to an access network device based on the buffer state report trigger mode.

Abstract: A method of processing a listen before talk (LBT) failure can be applied to a terminal and include: counting a number of failures and a number of successes for performing LBTs; determining whether to trigger a preset action according to a relationship between the number of failures and the number of successes, wherein the preset action is used to restore a link between the terminal and a base station or report a link problem to the base station.

Abstract: A timing configuration method and apparatus, the method being used in a base station, the base station configuring at least one bandwidth part BWP for a terminal, and the method comprising: for a first BWP, configuring a corresponding first bandwidth part BWP inactivity timer (110); generating timer configuration information, the timer configuration information being used for indicating the use of the first BWP inactivity timer on the first BWP (120); and sending the timer configuration information to the terminal, so that the terminal uses the first BWP inactivity timer on the first BWP on the basis of the timer configuration information (130). The present method implements dynamic configuration of a BWP inactivity timer on each BWP, increasing the flexibility of timer configuration and reducing power consumption.

Abstract: The various implementations described herein include methods and systems for synchronous audio playback. In one aspect, a method is performed at each of a plurality of electronic devices, each having an audio system, an internal clock, processors and memory storing programs for execution by the processors. Each device is configured for two-way communications with a server and associated with a user account. The device receives an identification of a first device as a common clock device that has a first internal clock being designated as a master clock. The device receives a synchronized audio playback command that includes audio data to be output and a future playback time. In response to receiving the audio data, the device determines a synchronized audio playback time. If the determined synchronized audio playback time has not yet occurred, the electronic device outputs the audio data based on the determined synchronized audio playback time.

Abstract: A method for executing a beam failure recovery (BFR) process includes receiving a delay instruction sent by a base station, in which the delay instruction is configured to instruct that a mechanism for executing a beam failure recovery (BFR) process is configured as a mechanism for delaying the execution of the BFR process when the BFR process is triggered in an inactive state of discontinuous reception (DRX); configuring the mechanism for executing the BFR process of the terminal as the mechanism for delaying the execution of the BFR process when the BFR process is triggered in the inactive state of the DRX based on the delay instruction; and delaying the execution of the BFR process when the BFR process is triggered in the inactive state of the DRX.
