Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure relates to a message sending method. The method is applicable to user equipment, and includes: sending a first message of random access to a base station; receiving a second message of random access from the base station; and sending a third message of random access via uplink resources indicated by the second message of random access. According to the examples of the present disclosure, the first indication information is carried in MSG1 to indicate a data amount of an uplink CCCH SDU included in MSG3 to be sent by the user equipment, such that the base station determines the data amount of the uplink CCCH SDU according to the first indication information, and then a data amount allowable to be transmitted via the uplink resources indicated by resulting MSG2 from the base station is greater than or equal to the data amount of the uplink CCCH SDU.

Abstract: A data transmission method comprises: determining whether a switched target Data Radio Bearer (DRB) supports sequential data transmission or not, when a DRB remapping event is detected during a data transmission process of a target data stream; in case that transmitting, through an original DRB, data packets in the target data stream that have been delivered to the original DRB, and transmitting, through the target DRB, data packets in the target data stream that have not been delivered to the original DRB, in case that the target DRB does not support sequential data transmission; and in case that transmitting data packets in the target data stream in a transmission mode in which sequence of data packets is not changed, in case that the target DRB supports sequential data transmission.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and device for generating a protocol data unit (PDU) packet. The method includes: acquiring a service data unit (SDU) packet, processing the SDU packet according to a size of a preset data packet, and generating a packet header and a data section of a PDU packet according to the processing result, the packet header and the data section constituting the PDU packet. The packet header omits a framing indication (FI) field and a resegmentation flag (RF) field and includes a preset field, and the preset field includes other fields than the FI field and the RF field that are redefined in a common packet header, or a target field that is newly added, a field length of the target field that is newly added being smaller than a total length of the FI field and the RF field.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for bandwidth part (BWP) adaptation are provided. The method may include determining, in response to receiving a BWP adapting instruction during a random access procedure, whether a BWP indicated by the BWP adapting instruction is the same as a target BWP in the random access procedure. The method may further include adapting, in response to that the BWP indicated by the BWP adapting instruction is not the same as the target BWP and in accordance with the BWP adapting instruction, the BWP indicated by the BWP adapting instruction, and continuing the random access procedure.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of setting a buffer status report (BSR) format including: in response to triggering a BSR by a UE, determining an amount of data buffered in a buffer corresponding to a logical channel group configured to transmit the data; and setting a format for the BSR based on the amount of the data buffered in the buffer. A number of bits in the BSR of the format is positively correlated with the amount of the data buffered in the buffer, and the bits indicate the amount of the data buffered in the buffer.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and device for sending a control protocol data unit (PDU) and belongs to the field of communication technologies. The method comprises: establishing a dedicated bearer for transporting a control PDU; when a control PDU to be sent exists, sending, on a logical channel to which the dedicated bearer corresponds, the control PDU to a media access control (MAC) entity of the communication device through a radio link control (RLC) entity of the communication device; and sending the control PDU through the MAC entity according to a promoted priority of the logical channel. The present disclosure can shorten the sending delay of the control PDU.

Abstract: An accessing method related to network slicing, being applied to a base station, includes: generating minimum system information, the minimum system information including two items: i) indication information indicating presence of physical random access channel (PRACH) configuration information, corresponding to one or more network slices, in other system information, ii) common random access channel configuration information; and sending the minimum system information to a user equipment.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a power headroom report transmission method which can include determining whether there is a trigger event of a power headroom report, and in a case that there is the trigger event of a power headroom report, determining a way for calculating the power headroom of a supplementary uplink carrier and/or other carrier according to the situation that a physical uplink control channel, a physical uplink shared channel and/or a channel sounding reference signal configured for a supplementary uplink carrier and other carriers of a first cell in which a supplementary uplink carrier is configured in service cells of user device, and calculating the power headroom of the supplementary uplink carrier and/or other carrier according to the way. The method can further include transmitting the power headroom report corresponding to the power headroom to the base station.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a random access control method, an electronic device, and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium. The method includes that a user equipment (UE) determines whether the random access process is successfully completed in response to receiving a bandwidth part switch command for a cell associated with a random access process during the random access process. Additionally, the UE stops the random access process in response to determining that the random access process is unsuccessfully completed. Furthermore, the UE switches a bandwidth part according to the bandwidth part switch command without continuing the random access process in the switched bandwidth part.

The method includes: querying a corresponding second QoS flow identifier and a length of the second QoS flow identifier from stored configuration information in accordance with a first QoS flow identifier of data to be transmitted, where the configuration information includes a configuration list corresponding to a data bearer, the configuration list is configured to store a correspondence relationship among the first QoS flow identifier, the second QoS flow identifier and the length of the second QoS flow identifier, and the length of the second QoS flow identifier is smaller than a length of the first QoS flow identifier; and adding the second QoS flow identifier into a packet header of the data and implementing information transmission based on data obtained after addition when the second QoS flow identifier and the length of the second QoS flow identifier are queried.

By determining the logic channel or logic channel group satisfying the BSR triggering criterion and, when the determined logic channel or logic channel group corresponds to the DRB mapped by the SDAP entity, and reporting to the base station the BSR comprising the buffer of the SDAP entity mapped to the determined logic channel or logic channel group, the problem with reporting the buffer state of the logic channel or logic channel group when a new protocol layer is introduced can be solved.

Abstract: A method for reporting a Buffer Status Report (BSR) includes: whether a trigger condition of triggering to report a target BSR again is currently satisfied is determined after the target BSR is reported to a base station; and the target BSR is reported to the base station again if the trigger condition is satisfied. A terminal can determine whether the trigger condition of triggering to report the target BSR again is currently satisfied after reporting the target BSR to the base station, and report the target BSR to the base station again if the trigger condition is satisfied. Therefore, the base station can allocate uplink resources to the terminal in time according to the target BSR, ensuring a transmission speed and quality of uplink data for the terminal.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a buffer status report transmitting method, including: receiving a configuration message sent by a base station; determining uplink resource allocation indication information sent by the base station and an uplink transmission time interval corresponding to the information based on the configuration message; determining an estimated duration based on the time interval; determining whether there is an uplink shared channel resource available in an uplink transmission opportunity within the estimated duration from the buffer status report trigger time or the time of the physical downlink control channel; sending a buffer status report to the base station if there is an uplink shared channel resource available in the uplink transmission opportunity. According to an example of the present disclosure, it may be avoided that the user device cannot transmit the buffer status report to the base station because the available uplink shared channel resources cannot be determined.

The BWP switching method applied to a terminal and can include that, after determining that a terminal is to perform BWP switching, keeping a first BWP currently activated on a carrier to be in an activated state. The method can further include activating a second BWP on the carrier, and controlling the first BWP to be in an inactivated state. The present disclosure enables a terminal to normally process a service of a high priority during BWP switching and after BWP switching is performed.
