    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for encoding and decoding video data. Techniques disclosed comprise obtaining a linear model used to encode or to decode a video block of the video data. The linear model is obtained by computing a parameter of the linear model as a function of a minimum chroma value and a maximum chroma value and as a function of a reciprocal of a difference between a minimum luma value and a maximum luma value, wherein the reciprocal is derived from a single look up table including values for determining least significant bits.

In this way, the boron-nitrogen compound may have good matching with an anthracene-based host material, which is conducive to the transmission of electrons and holes.

    Abstract: Methods which make use of baculovirus vector (BV)-magnetic nanoparticle (BV-MNP) complexes to facilitate in vivo delivery of clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeat (CRISPR) systems are provided. BV-MNP complexes carrying a CRISPR nuclease and a guide RNA having homology to an immune checkpoint gene can be administered to a subject to inhibit the immune checkpoint gene. Inhibition of the immune checkpoint gene can promote a desired immune response in the subject. Methods which leverage the contrast provided by MNPs in BV-MNP complexes in combination with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to detect in vivo delivery of CRISPR systems are also provided.

    Abstract: The technology provides a model-based approach for multilingual text rewriting that is applicable across many languages and across different styles including formality levels or other textual attributes. The model is configured to manipulate both language and textual attributes jointly. This approach supports zero-shot formality-sensitive translation, with no labeled data in the target language. An encoder-decoder architectural approach with attribute extraction is used to train rewriter models that can thus be used in “universal” textual rewriting across many different languages. A cross-lingual learning signal can be incorporated into the training approach. Certain training processes do not employ any exemplars. This approach enables not just straight translation, but also the ability to create new sentences with different attributes.

Each mini buffer is associated with a subset of rows or a subset of columns of the PE array. Partitioning an on-chip buffer of the AI accelerator device into the mini buffers described herein may reduce the size and complexity of the on-chip buffer. The reduced size of the on-chip buffer may reduce the wire routing complexity of the on-chip buffer, which may reduce latency and may reduce access energy for the AI accelerator device.
