    Abstract: The current disclosure includes coronavirus vaccines that protect against pathogenic coronavirus species, as well as their variants. In certain embodiments, SARS-CoV-2 variant specific and multivalent coronavirus vaccines are described. The vaccines typically include a modified mRNA which encodes at least one coronavirus derived immunogen, such as a spike protein or a fragment thereof. The mRNA can be encapsulated into lipid nanoparticles or other carriers and formulated as pharmaceutical compositions which can be used to generate an immune response to coronavirus in a subject. The vaccines can be used to elicit potent B and T cell responses against SARS-CoV-2 variants and to confer protective immunity against SARS-CoV-2, as well as other pathogenic coronavirus species such as SARS-CoV and/or MERS-CoV.

    Abstract: A method and device for generating a shared session secret with forward secrecy between a first device and a second device. The first and second devices perform mutual authentication. The first and second devices establish a first shared secret using a key encapsulation mechanism with a long-term cryptographic key pair of the devices. The first and second devices generate an ephemeral cryptographic key pair comprising an ephemeral public key and an ephemeral private key, respectively, and transfer the ephemeral public key of the device to the other device using the first shared secret. The first and second devices then establish a second shared secret using the key encapsulation mechanism with the ephemeral public keys of the first device and the second device. The second shared secret is used as a temporary shared session secret.

The manufacturing process includes material melting, a high temperature diffusion process, cogging and forming of steel ingots, and material heat treatment. The novel ultra-high-strength stainless steel manufactured by using the method provided by the present disclosure has the tensile strength not lower than 2100 MPa, elongation not lower than 8%, reduction of area not lower than 40%, fracture toughness greater than 60 MPa ?{square root over (m)}, and a stress corrosion threshold greater than 40 MPa ?{square root over (m)}.

The organic electroluminescent device fabricated using the compound of the present invention as a light-emitting layer can reduce the start-up voltage and remarkably improve the external quantum efficiency.
