    Abstract: Provided are methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for calibrating a direction-finding system in a handheld device. A method is provided, which comprises: displaying instructions for orienting a device such that an image of a calibration source through a camera of the device falls in a designated position on a screen of said device; receiving a signal from said calibration source via an antenna array of the device; calculating an orientation angle between said device and said calibration source based on said image of the calibration source; storing pairs of the signal and the orientation angle at various instances while moving or rotating the device to make the image of the calibration source move along a predefined trajectory displayed on the screen; and calibrating a direction-finding system in the device based on the stored pairs of the signal and the orientation angle.

A test system and a test method for liquid crystal display control board are also provided. With the above-discussed arrangement, the virtual load board replaces a liquid crystal display panel to carry out a reliability test of the liquid crystal display control board, and has the advantages of small volume and low cost and can be accommodated, together with the liquid crystal display control board, in reliability test equipment in order to carry out a reliability test of the liquid crystal display control board in a specific environment.

The touch liquid crystal display panel comprises a sensing layer comprising a plurality of electrode regions arranged as an array, the electrode regions being electrically isolated from one another and respectively corresponding to a plurality of pixel units of a display region, and a wiring layer comprising a plurality of wires electrically connected with a control chip. The electrode regions each are electrically connected with a corresponding wire of the wiring layer through a via hole disposed adjacent to part of sub pixels of a corresponding pixel unit, so that the control chip acquires an inductive signal of each of the electrode regions. In the present disclosure, only partial sub pixels are provided with via holes for forming electric contact of the electrode regions of the sensing layer with the wires of the wiring layer.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for aligning liquid crystals of a PSVA liquid crystal display device, including the steps of: providing a first voltage to a gate of a thin film transistor for enabling it in a turn-on state; applying a second voltage to the source of the thin film transistor, and applying a third voltage to a color filter side common electrode and an array side common electrode, so as to generate an alternating current voltage difference between the source and the color filter side common electrode, and enable the liquid crystal molecules to be arranged according to predefined direction angles; curing the liquid crystal molecules. The method may enable the alignment of the liquid crystal molecules to be ideal, which is advantagous to the subsequent process of tilt angles, so as to enhance the efficiency and effect of the liquid crystal display.

    Abstract: A folded cascode amplifier (FCA) including cascode stages coupled in a stacked cascode configuration, an input stage, and a switch circuit. The stages may include first and second P-type stages and first and second N-type stages, in which the first N-type stage and the input stage receive first and second bias voltages, respectively. The switch circuit couples a first cascode bias voltage to the second P-type stage and couples a second cascode bias voltage to the first N-type stage in a high power state, and decouples the first and second cascode bias voltages in a low power state. A non-switched low current bias generator provides the first and second bias and cascode bias voltages, which remain substantially stable in the low and high power states. Only low parasitic capacitance nodes are switched between power states so that the gain of the FCA recovers very quickly for the high power state.
