Abstract: A method of generating a stylized 3D avatar is provided. The method includes receiving an input image of a user, generating, using a generative adversarial network (GAN) generator, a stylized image, based on the input image, and providing the stylized image to a first model to generate a first plurality of parameters. The first plurality of parameters include a discrete parameter and a continuous parameter. The method further includes providing the stylized image and the first plurality of parameters to a second model that is trained to generate an avatar image, receiving, from the second model, the avatar image, comparing the stylized image to the avatar image, based on a loss function, to determine an error, updating the first model to generate a second plurality of parameters that correspond to the first plurality of parameters, based on the error, and providing the second plurality of parameters as an output.

Abstract: Disclosed is a sorting machine, comprising a rack, two rail units which are both mounted on the rack and are symmetrical to each other, and a sorting cart. The rail units comprise: a transverse rail assembly, wherein the transverse rail assembly comprises a plurality of transverse rails and a plurality of reversing mechanisms, and the transverse rails and the reversing mechanisms are alternately arranged along a straight line; and a plurality of vertical rails which are parallel to each other, wherein the vertical rails and the reversing mechanisms are arranged in one-to-one correspondence. The sorting cart is switched to a rail by means of the reversing mechanisms, and a conveying direction of a conveying assembly is different from a traveling direction of the sorting cart.

Abstract: Devices, systems and methods related to digital video coding, and specifically, to signaling of slice types in video picture headers are described. One example method of video processing includes performing a conversion between a video including one or more video pictures including one or more slices and a bitstream of the video, wherein the bitstream conforms to a format rule, and wherein the format rule specifies that for a video picture of the one or more video pictures having all slices coded as I slices, P slice and B slice related syntax elements are omitted from a picture header for the video picture.

Abstract: A numerical simulation optimization method of impact damage based on a laser mapped solid mesh is provided, including: measuring an impact damage size, a damage profile, a surface residual strain and a surface residual stress of a solid mesh element around the damage after firing a bullet by a light gas gun to impact a mesh area of a sample and obtaining the impact damage; establishing a parameterized impact finite element model to obtain a numerically simulated impact damage size, a numerically simulated impact damage profile, a numerically simulated surface residual strain and the surface residual stress of the surface solid mesh element; and calculating relative errors between the experimental measurements and the numerically simulated impact damage size, damage profile, surface residual strain and residual stress; and determining whether the relative errors are all less than expected values until a numerical simulation result meeting the accuracy requirements are obtained.

Abstract: A backlight driving method and a display panel are provided. The backlight driving method provided by the present application uses pulse width modulation technology to modulate a low-level pulse width of a scan signal. By increasing a low-level pulse width to increase the pulse period, a number of high-level pulses is reduced, thereby reducing a high-level pulse time. Therefore, a time for a TFT to receive a high-level voltage is also reduced, thereby improving a stability of the TFT and also improving a problem of a threshold voltage drift of the TFT.

The steps include collecting cigarette burning quality index data, filtering the cigarette burning quality index data, standardizing cigarette data, and measuring cigarette burning quality. The importance of the cigarette burning quality indicators can also be evaluated. The method for comprehensively analyzing and/or evaluating cigarette burning quality indicators can reflect general laws more accurately by maintaining the sample distribution through a singularity detection method, and analyzing correlations of each index with cigarette performance from multiple perspectives, to fuse them into a comprehensive measurement value. The importance ranking and weight of indicators can be obtained more completely and stably.

Abstract: Provided are method and system for rapidly predicting foaming tendency of edible frying oil, including: heating the oil; immersing a polar component content detection probe into the oil to measure an initial polar component content of the oil; at a frying state, removing the detection probe from the oil, placing frying food into the oil and frying the same taking out the frying food from the oil after frying, and measuring the largest frying oil foam height and recording the same as an initial foam height; at an air introduction state, immersing the detection probe and introducing air into the oil, and continuing to introduce air and heat thereinto until the polar component content in the oil is 10%; repeating the frying state; and fitting measurements and parameters into a formula.

The UE, based on whether it is a first UE or a second UE, may select, based on the received indication, the first PRACH configuration or the second PRACH configuration for at least one beam. The UE may initiate, via the at least one beam, a RACH procedure for the selected first PRACH configuration or the selected second PRACH configuration.

Abstract: System and methods that improve the use of network functions on edge data networks are disclosed. A mechanism that supports edge-assisted UE context and trigger collection is described herein, where a UE can actively send its context information and/or any trigger (e.g. a request for a network function/service to be deployed in edge data networks, etc.) to an edge enabler server, which processes the received context and triggers from its UEs. The edge enabler server may also forward UE context and triggers to 5G core network (5GC) upon receiving a solicitation request from the 5GC, or if the 5GC has already made a subscription for getting notification on UE context and triggers. A network repository function is provided as a new network function collect, store, and manage edge data network information.

Abstract: A nerve conduit loaded with adipose-derived stem cells and a preparation method thereof are provided. The preparation method includes: S1, adding polycaprolactone and polyvinylpyrrolidone into a binary organic solvent, performing ultrasonic treatment, and then adding reduced graphene oxide nanoparticles to obtain a spinning solution; S2, electrospinning with the spinning solution and then washing for several times to obtain a semi-finished conduit product; and S3, injecting a cell mixture into the semi-finished conduit product to obtain the nerve conduit. A fiber surface of the nerve conduit has groove structures, and thus a specific surface area and cell adhesion sites are increased, and adhesion and proliferation of cells are facilitated.
