    Abstract: A computer implemented method and system of setting values of parameters of nodes in an omnichannel distribution system, the method comprising is provided. Input parameters are received from a computing device. Historical data related to the network of nodes is received from a data repository. A synthetic scenario is determined based on the received input parameters and the historical data. Each node is clustered into a corresponding category. For each category of nodes, key parameters are identified. A range of each key parameter is determined based on the synthetic scenario. A number of simulations N to perform with data sampled from the synthetic scenario within the determined range of each key parameter is determined. For each of the N simulations, a multi-objective optimization is performed to determine a cost factor of the parameter settings. The parameter settings with a lowest cost factor are selected.

    Abstract: A process includes applying a slurry to a surface of a metallic article to produce a slurry film on the surface. The slurry is composed of a liquid carrier, chromium and aluminum, and an agent that is reactive with the chromium and aluminum to form intermediary compounds. The article and slurry film are then thermally treated at an activation temperature at which the agent reacts with the chromium and aluminum to form the intermediary compounds. The intermediary compounds deposit the chromium and aluminum on the surface. The thermal treating also diffuses the chromium and aluminum into a sub-surface region of the article such that the sub-surface region becomes enriched with chromium and aluminum.

When the display is mounted in the housing, the tail may be bent back on itself to create a bend. The bend may be embedded in a molded polymer member.     Abstract: A miniature quantitative optical coherence elastography system with an integrated Fabry-Perot force sensor for in situ elasticity measurement of biological tissue is provided. The technique has great potential for biomechanics modeling and clinical diagnosis. The qOCE system contains a fiber-optic probe that exerts a compressive force to deform tissue at the tip of the probe. Using the space-division multiplexed optical coherence tomography signal detected by a spectral domain optical coherence tomography engine, probe deformation in proportion to the force applied is quantified, as well as the tissue deformation corresponding to the external stimulus. Simultaneous measurement of force and displacement allows for calculation of Young's modulus from the biological tissue.

    Abstract: A hypergraph is constructed based on historical shopping cart data. A node of the hypergraph corresponds to a shopping basket, and a hyperedge of the hypergraph corresponds to a unique product, the hyperedge connecting all nodes of the hypergraph representing baskets containing the unique product. A hypergraph partition algorithm identifies a cluster of shopping baskets represented in the hypergraph and determined to be similar to a given basket. Based on the cluster of shopping baskets a dual-level return prediction is performed. The dual-level return prediction includes predicting whether the given basket will be returned, and based on predicting that the given basket will be returned, predicting a probability that a product in the given basket will be returned. Based on predicting that the given basket will be returned, an ameliorative action is performed to reduce the probability.
