    Abstract: The present invention provides a samarium-cobalt magnet and a method for preparing the same. The method comprises mixing an alloy powder with a zirconium powder in an amount of 0.1-0.35 wt % of the weight of the alloy powder to form a mixture. The alloy powder is formed from 10.5-13.5 wt % of samarium, 12.5-15.5 wt % gadolinium, 50-55 wt % of cobalt, 13-17 wt % of iron, 4-10 wt % of copper, and 2-7 wt % of zirconium. The method brings about at low costs a samarium-cobalt magnet having a positive temperature coefficient of remanence.

The sectional door driving device can be separated from the shaft easily for repair, and the sectional door driving device can also be installed on the existing sectional door easily.

    Abstract: An encoding method for encoding blocks of a picture part is disclosed in an embodiment. A reconstructed version of each block of the picture part, called reconstructed block, is determined. A plurality of candidate sets of filter parameters is obtained and an index is determined for each block of the picture part that identifies one of the candidate sets of filter parameters to be used for filtering the block. Each reconstructed block is filtered with the candidate set of filter parameters of the plurality of candidate sets of filter parameters identified by the index. The plurality of candidate sets of filter parameters, the blocks of the picture part and the index for each block are encoded in a bitstream. Advantageously, a plurality of candidate sets of filter parameters are determined such as to minimize a rate-distortion cost for each block of the picture part.

A total number of columns in the Kb number of second square matrices is equal to a total number of bits of the CBS. One or more matrices of the M number of second square matrices are circular permutation matrices. The apparatus operates an LDPC encoder or an LDPC decoder based on the parity check matrix.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a structure and method for embedding a non-volatile memory (NVM) in a HKMG (high-? metal gate) integrated circuit which includes a high-voltage (HV) HKMG transistor. NVM devices (e.g., flash memory) are operated at high voltages for its read and write operations and hence a HV device is necessary for integrated circuits involving non-volatile embedded memory and HKMG logic circuits. Forming a HV HKMG circuit along with the HKMG periphery circuit reduces the need for additional boundaries between the HV transistor and rest of the periphery circuit. This method further helps reduce divot issue and reduce cell size.

The matrix also includes a row having two elements with values corresponding to the first state. One of the two elements is a parity element corresponding to a parity bit associated with the row. Further, other elements in a same column as the parity element have values corresponding to the second state. The processing circuitry is configured to implement error correction based on the matrix. In another embodiment, the processing circuitry is configured to encode a data unit by generating the set of parity bits from the data unit based on the matrix and to form a codeword that includes the data unit and the set of parity bits.

    Abstract: A processor of an apparatus selects a codebook from a plurality of codebooks embedded in a quasi-cyclic-low-density parity-check (QC-LDPC) code. The processor stores the selected codebook in a memory associated with the processor. The processor also encodes data using the selected codebook to generate a plurality of modulation symbols of the data. The processor further controls a transmitter of the apparatus to multiplex, convert, filter, amplify and radiate the modulation symbols as electromagnetic waves through one or more antennas of the apparatus. In selecting the codebook from the plurality of codebooks embedded in the QC-LDPC code, the processor selects the codebook according to one or more rules such that a small codebook requiring a shorter amount of processing latency for the encoding is selected for the encoding unless a larger codebook corresponding to a larger amount of processing latency for the encoding is necessary for the encoding.
