  • Publication number: 20180109429
Abstract: A controller in a network can gather operational data describing performance of an end point group in the network. The end point group can include one or more containers providing microservices. The controller can calculate an overall health score for the end point group based on the operational data. The overall health score can indicate whether an actual overall performance of the end point group is meeting a desired overall performance of the end point group defined by a first set of policies assigned to the end point group. The controller can present, in a graphical user interface, a visual representation of the overall health score. The visual representation of the overall health score can indicate that the overall health score is within a first overall health range from a set of two or more overall health ranges.

  • Publication number: 20180108805
Abstract: A solution for designing and/or fabricating a structure including a quantum well and an adjacent barrier is provided. A target band discontinuity between the quantum well and the adjacent barrier is selected to coincide with an activation energy of a dopant for the quantum well and/or barrier. For example, a target valence band discontinuity can be selected such that a dopant energy level of a dopant in the adjacent barrier coincides with a valence energy band edge for the quantum well and/or a ground state energy for free carriers in a valence energy band for the quantum well. Additionally, a target doping level for the quantum well and/or adjacent barrier can be selected to facilitate a real space transfer of holes across the barrier. The quantum well and the adjacent barrier can be formed such that the actual band discontinuity and/or actual doping level(s) correspond to the relevant target(s).

  • Publication number: 20180108137
Abstract: Certain aspects involve semantic segmentation of objects in a digital visual medium by determining a score for each pixel of the digital visual medium that is representative of a likelihood that each pixel corresponds to the objects associated with bounding boxes within the digital visual medium. An instance-level label that yields a label for each of the pixels of the digital visual medium corresponding to the objects is determined based, in part, on a collective probability map including the score for each pixel of the digital visual medium. In some aspects, the score for each pixel corresponding to each bounding box is determined by a prediction model trained by a neural network.

  • Publication number: 20180107942
Abstract: A social driving style learning framework or system for autonomous vehicles is utilized, which can dynamically learn the social driving styles from surrounding vehicles and adopt the driving style as needed. Each of the autonomous vehicles within a particular driving area is equipped with the driving style learning system to perceive the driving behaviors of the surrounding vehicles to derive a set of driving style elements. Each autonomous vehicle transmits the driving style elements to a centralized remote server. The server aggregates the driving style elements collected from the autonomous vehicles to determine a driving style corresponding to that particular driving area. The server transmits the driving style back to each of the autonomous vehicles. The autonomous vehicles can then decide whether to adopt the driving style, for example, to follow the traffic flow with the rest of the vehicles nearby.
